We have Chik-Fil-A, Subway, Panda Express, TGI Fridays, and Famous Daves....
All of which have fantastic food.
Besides the fried food you find everywhere. Which is your choice to buy.....
What other kinds of establishments should CP have? Should they replace some fried food locations with other options?
Or for instance do you just find the pizza / cheeseburgers to be sub-par quality for the price? (I know they are low quality, but do you think they are so poor they need better meat?)
Once again I just hop over to TGI Fridays and spend a couple bucks more for A/C, fries, unlimited refills, and stuff like that. But yeah if I want a quick burger, I am not stopping at a stand in the park.
^Fantastic, no, tollerable yes. And I would agree if I was only paying for one meal, but the fact of the matter is that I need at least one meal and one snack. Even so, CF has the worst park food of any chain in this country outside of Six Flags. Herchends, Busch, Universal and Disney can do it as chains and I wont even include the non chain parks, there is no reason CF cant either.
You can't even lump Disney in there at all. It's not park food, unless you count Churros.
Even the counter service meals at Disney are extremely high quality and tasty-licious.
I could happily eat anything CP offers if it were offered at a reasonable price. This has been talked about over and over, $14 for a footlong Subway when they're in the middle of a national $5 footlong campaign is ridiculous. I know, prices and participation may vary, but I've never heard "prices may double or triple" at the end of a commercial. And don't say you can't lump Disney in, most of their stands offer the same menu, mini pizzas, burgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken fingers, chicken wraps, apple slices. Sounds like park food to me, and it's all reasonably priced.
So yeah, they should totally something something Led Zeppelin coaster something.
IF cedar point is to do anything i bet they build a new unique coaster instead of buying a used coaster from a park that can't make it. With a due respect to Hard Rock Park maybe they are just not to be apart of the amusement / theme park business.

"They" weren't in the theme park business. They licensed the brand to someone who thought they were.

I want Dole Whip at Cedar Point...

Seems like everyone loves Dole Whip. I think I'm the only person who has tried it and didn't care for it.
I bet it would sell very well, but I'm guessing the Toft's contract prevents them from selling it. Too bad, they could easily do a Dole Whip stand. They make like 5 different flavors that I've seen at a local ice cream shop, but only the Pineapple is the famous Disney variety.

Eh, before too long we'll have a Coldstone creamery in there. I personally wouldn't mind a Ryba's or a Kilwin's to replace the aged fudge stand... That stuff is as addictive as crack.
I'm content with the frozen custard, when I can find one that's open.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Hey, could we please stay on topic. I think MIA would do real good with Zeppelin. The view of it going across the center lake would be great.
Thunderhawk is probably more coaster than MA needs, so I can't see how Zeppelin would be a good fit there.

It's a bad thing when your operating and maintenance budget can't be justified by the size of your attendance. Just look at the park in my signature.

You honestly believe that Geauga lake couldn't turn it around? That wonderful park was murdered because Dastardly Dick wanted the park gone. When it was six flags it started to become a destination park to compete with cp. Geauga Lake grew too fast in one year to be profitable. If cedar fair wanted Geauga Lake to do well they would have down sized it to be more family oriented. It would have complimented cedar point well.

Did I say that? No, I did not, and I do not wish to reopen that discussion.
Whatever other factors went into the closing of Geauga Lake, it's clear that the park simply had too many expensive rides to manage and operate given the size of the crowds it was pulling in.
