Sarcasm or not, there seem to be plenty of people on this thread who don't believe the grass could be there just for the purpose of grass. My post wasn't just for JUnderhill to read.

It's probably to prevent erosion. CP wouldn't want mud washing into the midways during a heavy rain.
That seems to make sense. So if there is going to be a coaster, should we believe that they will not be digging for footers during the operating months? When did they break ground for Maverick? I want to say it was during the Summer 2006.
They may well dig for footers over the summer. In the meantime, they'll not have a muddy mess of dirt just opposite the new attraction for 2015.
I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.
While I agree it's a good idea to plant grass, they had a muddy mess of dirt just opposite the new attraction in 2006.

Based upon the comment that he posted after that one I figured that he was being sarcastic. :)
You figured correctly! It is such a ridiculous idea that some grass means nothing will happen for several years, I thought most would have detected the sarcasm with the expensive and high maintenance comment.
There was not grass seed on the other patch of cleared land by Blue Streak and Raptor. Maybe they intend on putting some there as well, or maybe they will start construction there first fairly soon? I was thinking a lift for a dive machine could fit there and the track after the drop could go under the side entrance into the larger area. Or maybe the opposite, having a giant 180 foot immelman near Blue Streak.
What color would you like to see a Dive machine? I say paint it black. Purple trains?
If Banshee hadn't been built, then I would have said that exact color scheme, but maybe some type of purple and black combination. I prefer the two-tone track like Gatekeeper. It adds a nice accent that solid color track lacks.
I wouldn't mind the colors of Apocalypse at Six Flags America. Red and Orange may be overused, but that coaster is striking. The orange rails could be substituted for Banshee pink/purple.
As long as it isn't blue or red, I'm fine with whatever color they paint it. Too many blue and red coasters in the park. I think brown, tan or black would be nice.

Agreed but with the thinking some people have around here....
I think CP should stay away from red for a while. Gatekeeper is very welcoming and beautiful, but it's time for something dark that really goes with the theme of death, hearts of children and all that jazz. Valravn is almost like GateKeeper's evil twin. GK is a protector, Valravn is a destroyer. Destroying chest cavities that is.
I would be absolutely thrilled with Shambhala's colors. Some might argue that they are too close to Gatekeeper though.
Gold, I don't know if it has ever been done, but that would be absolutely gorgeous. ( not actual gold )
You know, Valravn sounds like the name for a new boner pill. Please seek medical attention if you have an erection that lasts more than four hours.

I just rode Shambhala a few weeks back in Spain and LOVED the color scheme and theming of the station and surrounding area. Dragon Khan was nice too. :)
