Frankly, I'm okay if the Intamin run has run its course, which all evidence points to that it has. Unless Intamin came up with something very good and new, I think that the park already has the "full" Intamin package. Same goes for Arrow back in the day. Now it's B&M's real turn to make a statement. If CP did get the dive coaster, the title of " Best B&M Lineup" would still be debatable seeing as their hyper coasters are often considered their best design. However, it would definitely be one of the most unique B&M lineups, especially since they would have four while none of which would be a hyper-coaster.
Everyone thought so highly of Holiday World's Intamin water ride that they couldn't even sell it, until they sold it for scrap.

I'm a little surprised how much land they cleared already. If this is a dive machine, any guesses as to where the station, lift and drop will be? How many inversions will it have? I can see the station being somewhere right around where Dodgem was facing Rougarou and the drop coming back facing Raptor, maybe an Immelman or two, a little airtime hill. Do you think it would have a splash pool? I wonder if it will go underground after the drop.
The stats listed in the Sandusky Register article were quite detailed, which leads me to believe that if this dive coaster happens, then it will be fairly close to that description. The article said nothing about a splash-down. I too would say that a coaster with a splash-down is something that Cedar Point should invest in, since it is something that they don't have and it does look quite cool. This location would be a prime place to put one.
^ I was kidding about the gore. A giant statue would be cool, but let's not forget what we're dealing with here, and what it's capable of.
