Bubbles area 21 and over at Soak City

Actually, the extra conversation exposed this manger as someone who does not have a clear idea of what food safety is, and I'm glad Zoug went the extra mile.

Someone who is so lax and clueless about food safety is just as hazardous to guests as a mechanic who does not take his job seriously when servicing rides. The cornerstones of the company are there for a reason and someone who does not respect guest safety should not be working for the park.

Well, if it wasn't for Zoug, it wouldn't have been cleaned up so I thank him for that. He introducing himself as the one that did exposed further issues, she knew it was there and hadn't intended on cleaning it up. I'd have been apologetically embarrassed if I was her.

I saw those people too and they were NOT being obnoxious and loud. Why do you lie about them? They seemed to be well behaved and minding their own business. Like you should. What about the people who bring in water and their own pop or drinks that look like water or pop but actually have liquor in them . You going to snitch on them too?

Are you aware that you can private message the person that you have an issue with.

And your post seems very indignant about something that is none of your business, which is also something that you espouse.

This whole matter should've been handled on premises by notifying employees and higher level managers.

I have been a platinum pass holder for years. I can't see why you should single out just one group of people for bringing their own drinks in.When in the years I have been going I have saw a lot of others doing the same. And with bubbles drink prices how can you afford to drink any drinks there? A few weeks I saw a group of collage students bring in water bottles that were filled with booze. How do I know this, well by the end of the day,all of the collage students were either drunk or passed out. My observation over the years is every one has a igloo cooler bag. I seen numerous people pouring already mixed cocktails that they brought in with them into cedar point cups.So if you going to single out this one group of people, then why doesn't Soak City and Cedar Point start checking all of the bags going in.

Yes I do. I was just stating my opinion.

Do you use more than one screen name on point buzz?
The writing style and punctuation are very similar along with tone and deference.

Either way, to each their own.

I love this. Are you still in middle school? I suppose since you saw them not being obnoxious that Marcie916 is just lying and making it all up. Maybe you saw them during round one and she saw them during round ten? Being around obnoxious drunks isn't fun when you're trying to relax. Let alone when one of them falls into a pool and drowns and the park has to prove that it was the smuggled liquor that directly caused their deaths and not the park's. I would love for the park to check bags for liquor. If you can't afford to buy it there then guess what? don't buy it! I know it's hard to have fun at a waterpark without alcohol.

The problem or issue here is that the employee knows about and is socializing with the people who are breaking the law and company policy by bringing in outside liquor.

I wish the park would check bags for liquor and drugs, while that are at it.

Why do so many people think you have to get drunk or have a "buzz on" to have fun?

So many people don't think that. You're citing an anecdote, and generalizing about the behavior of people who do drink.

If you "have saw" a lot of others doing the same and not brought that to the attention of management, it would seem you're not concerned about it happening. Why be bothered if someone else is?

And with bubbles drink prices how can you afford to drink any drinks there?

The solution here is to not drink. Not wishing to pay the advertised price doesn't entitle anyone to violate established policies.

A few weeks I saw a group of collage students bring in water bottles that were filled with booze. How do I know this, well by the end of the day,all of the collage students were either drunk or passed out.

Wow, it must have been boring spending your entire day monitoring the drinking activities of a group of people instead of enjoying the Cedar Point and Soak City experiences you paid for.

So if you going to single out this one group of people, then why doesn't Soak City and Cedar Point start checking all of the bags going in.

Clearly, they should.

Marcie916 is mistaken (or lying) about people being obnoxious and loud at Bubbles. I have never seen that there, and I see plenty of regulars there all the time. Perhaps there is some bone to pick, it wouldn't be the first time someone made up a story because of an unrelated agenda. It seems really "high school" to try to smear some of these people that have had no problems at the bar ever, and some have been going there since the bar opened.

And why is that in any way relevant to you? Unless your name is Mike DeWine or Matt Ouimet, I don't see why you should care.

I wish the park would check bags for liquor and drugs, while that are at it.

Even if we assume (to Jeff's point above) this absurd generalization is true, who cares? Unless people are harassing or endangering you (and I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen such behavior at the park), I fail to see why you should be concerned over what others are doing.

If people want to sneak in booze, so be it. They're the ones running the risk of getting caught and potentially booted from the park. People need to spend more time minding their own business and less time worrying about the inconsequential behavior of others.

Brandon

I'm with you on that one Pete. There's too many people here getting into other peoples business. I have never seen anyone get loud and obnoxious like Marcie said and the few I.have heard of that were being out of hand security came and took care of it right away. I have been coming there for years as well. This will all blow over soon.

I believe they're referring to the people on here who dont mind their business in terms of the ones telling management about a group of people who are bringing in their own outside beverages. Not telling you to mind your business on a public forum. Now that would just be silly.

While I agree with and seem to be persuaded by both sides of the story, it all comes down to minding your business. For goodness sake, Bubbles isn't even close to a Country Club, but some of you seem to act like Bubbles is, and want to be THAT guy who complains any time something is out of the ordinary.

But if we start checking people's bags and such to stop them from trying to sneak in booze they're going to find my smuggled Gatorade. Not cool dudes...
