Boardwalk Project 2016

If they did do a boardwalk I don't see any reason to move the Giant Wheel. There's empty space between GateKeeper and Troika that could be used for beach or boardwalk access.

I don't think it's entirely out of the question.

With GW and the Stadium gone, there is free space. A RCM or Intamin styled Cyclone would be perfect. Possibly something along the lines of Balder mixed with T-Express.

^As much as I love RMC and Intamin wooden coasters, I do not think that would be the best choice. The point of the boardwalk is to use the scenery to its advantage to attract guests. However, I believe the structure of a wooden coaster would hinder the view in this area. If the area were larger then I would agree with you. Another compact steel coaster would suffice much better under that design.

I've been one in agreement with those proposing a boardwalk of sorts along the beach. The beach is a great asset and would add a lot to the atmosphere if things were opened up to the park. The stadium would have to go, I see a beachside restaurant/bar perhaps squeeze in a ride somewhere. The beach seems really closed off to the park, I know there is access hiding next to Windseeker. If the stadium was gone and you can still see through to the beach from the main midway, I feel like people would be pulled over there. I think there is a lot of space even along the walk way to play with, let alone the beach front.

They'd need a really good designer for this project who can still keep the beach/boardwalk in view and accessible.
