Chris is right when he says high web cams can be much less interesting. That's why the Sky Ride has been a good location.
That's why they should invest in a new pan/tilt/zoom camera. Then the high location is actually desirable. You can focus on the ride or location of the park you want, and zoom in on it. But, its high enough that you can't zoom in on some girl's cleavage. *** Edited 1/31/2007 4:03:23 PM UTC by halltd***
1. Keep the Main Midway Cam as is. This gives you a good idea of the crowd.
2. Place one on top of the station or big screen aimed toward the MF queue and the beginning of Frontier Trail.
3. On the first or second tier of TTD looking back toward the Gemini Midway or on top of the Magnum station looking toward the Gemini Midway, whichever provides the better view.

I think they would have a problem with this one, only because in that shot you'd also be able to see Cash Control and the warehouses back behind the games, and I just can't see them liking that at all.
(I know you can just ride the Space Spiral and see it, but to have all day access to it is different)
I didnt mean they would have it facing that far down.
Demon Drop Wouldnt be hard to maintain. All you have to do is walk up the stairs to the top of Demon Drop, its not that bad. I did it last season all the time working Demon Drop part of my summer. Its just like the pond cam right now. They have to do a lift walk up Snake River Falls to access it, whats the difference.

Remember the one they had on Breakers Tower that faced down the beach? I liked that one a lot. It had a nice view all the way down the boardwalk. I wish they would bring that one, or one similar to that back. The cameras should be placed to show areas of the park that most people (gp) might not think about being there or areas that are not always talked about, i.e. The Beach/Boardwalk, Marina, Challenge Park, places like that.
You could still have one or two in a popular/busy area like the main midway. I do wish they would add one more cam though.

That's definitely one of the downsides to that type of camera. And given how awkward they are to control, you often end up with poor views if someone doesn't know what they're doing.
I'd like to see one somewhere on the trail, low enough to the ground to get some detail. Perhaps on or near the fort pointing toward the back of the park. You wouldn't see any coasters, but I think it would be a nice looking view.
