Long time lurker here. There is NO best food in the park. It is sub par and too expensive! We have to leave to afford the place!! Kings Island has incredible pizza. Why can't CP work with one of the local pizza places and get some quality pizza in there. That I might pay for.
I'm with you there, we always leave to eat also, I've not had bad luck with burnt hot dogs from pinks like gatekeeper2013 has but I have had numerous burnt hamburgers, chicken strips, and corn dogs from the food stands. Why pay $15 on a burnt item that I can get for $5 outside the park and is not burnt?

About a month ago, I had pizza from the Gristmill in the Frontier Trail that I thought was pretty good, if you like NY style pizza

Generally, I avoid eating in amusement parks. I'm happy to toss a few snacks into a pocket.
That said, every time I visit Cedar Point I get an order of french fries with chili and cheese sauce.
My doctor would probably slap it out of my hands if he saw me with it, but I love the taste and I love the experience of enjoying those fries while sitting under Sky Ride, at night, when all the lights are on, as people pass by and rides roar around me.
Lol last time I felt like a glutton..however it was awesome:
Chickies & Petes Buffalo Sandwich w/ a Fat Tire & Redds Ale. Pinks Scotty w/ side of Onion Rings. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Dip & Dots Rasberry Pop Rock Shake. Cheese on a Stick..
It was a glorious Saturday.
Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, & Monster/ Witches Wheel Crew 2011
I agree about the experience of fries with chili and cheese. I did get that this year when it was just my wife and I. It was around Luminosity time so the light projections were on the main midway, the LED's on the Big Wheel, that unmistakable roar of Raptor. I savored those fries like one would a glass of fine wine...

I am willing to bet that if you went back to the stand that you purchased your food from and told them that it was burnt you would have received a replacement.
You are probably right but then you are waiting back in the line for however long it takes and that is valuable ride time. Should be done right the 1st time.

You are correct that it should be done right the first time. We have eaten at CP many times, and in general the food has been prepared properly for us.
It would definitely take a few minutes out of the day to let them know the food was not cooked properly and then have to wait for a new order. However, it would take much more time out of the day to leave the park, and head over to say McDonalds, Wendy's, Outback, Red Lobster, Long John Silvers etc... Once at one of those fine dining establishments there are still no guarantees that the food will be prepared properly the first time.

Yes I have had real pizza. However when comparing CP to Larossa.....big difference.
Nothing wrong with Larossa, better than any pizza or should I say cardboard that CP offers. So I agree with bleh99 once again. I am partial to Pinks though but that's a chain restaurant and not cp controlled.
