There's a camera pointed at the site, and has been since they started. I'm sure we'll see a time-lapse video sometime in the spring.

Too much nonsense going on! Time for a limerick to get us back on track:
I heard from a fellow crew member
Whose name I could not remember
But many took heed
And everyone agreed
That we wouldn't find out till September.
Not to be confused with Twisted Wicker 08 from 2002
I believe it... Mr. Kinzel said in the Conference Call Tuesday that they were working on their Capital Improvement announcements to be made "in the fall." I think August may be out of the question.

Some of what has been said here makes sense. In August, they will admit it's a coaster (they haven't yet, it could be a food place) and will be the 17th to the collection. Thus starting the huge hype for a press event in September. I can see that.
They probably would have the camera up on the site now except they don't want to get another bathroom issue caught on film again. I wish T&T would have had to answer questions about that.

I can't stand it when people think they know for sure when they don't.
After being around this site for close to 8 years (an eternity and a half in Internet time), I've learned how to pick up on sublteties that aren't intuitively obvious to the casual observer. Combine this with friendships I've made over this time, and you would understand that I'm not just posting to see my screen name on my monitor.
Lately I've been bordering on "lurker" status becaue of how overwhelmingly absurd and unintelligent the discussion here has become. Whenever I pop up anymore it's to voice my opinion on a subject I feel strongly about, or to set people straight (or at least point them in the right direction). I'm sure you can figure out which scenario this falls into.
It didn't use to be this way...I blame Dragster and the crowd it brought in. ;)

Thanks man I really feel wanted.:)
I guess people like me aren’t and weren’t wanted. We aren’t contributing members after all; we're all nothing but babbling know-nothings who have abandoned all hope of reality......or is that just me I'm talking about?;)

No, there IS a camera on the site, and its been there all along. Its not a rumor, nor is it heresay.
Edited for proof. :)

Now that we know there is a camera on site, how come it's not online yet? They must be waiting for the annoucement to come if Project 2007 isn't on there yet.
No, from what has been discussed here, they are simply using it to produce a time-lapse video of the construction.
Brandon
As I understand, it could be used as a web cam, though I'm not sure it will be.

What I meant by up is active on the web site for all of us to see. As others have pointed out, the webcams have been up earlier in construction the last couple years. And was making a joke about a picture taken off the TTD webcam that was posted on this very site as the reason they haven't this year. I'd post a link to it (the picture) but don't feel like looking for it.

It looks more like a security camera to me.

That's how the web cams look, too???

The housing unit means virtually nothing in regards to the camera that's inside of it.
Here's the midway camera:

Here's a security camera:

But there does seem to be a striking resemblance here, the Skyhawk camera:

As I said before, the camera at the P2007 site looks like a security camera. The web cam looks a bit bigger with little antennas all over it.
