Anyone at the park today?

The lot on the marina side and marina lot are two different lots. Employees do park in the lot on the marina side but anyone can. They don't park in the marina lot.

The associate lot is the "South Basin" lot.

The marina lot bookends Famous Dave's.

Ah yea - "South Basin." I forgot that name for some reason.

Anyone there today? Seems like there's some rain moving in now but I glanced at wait times earlier, queue times showed 85 minutes for blue streak?? Is that partly due to slow dispatches/capacity or was the park really that busy.

90 minutes for millennium, raptor, rougarou. 105 for SV. 35 for magnum. I know it's July & peak season now, but that's pretty intense for a Tuesday.

I was looking at the webcam not long ago as me and my husband were debating what to do this evening when the kids get back from the library and nothing big seemed to be running, parking lot didn't look full but an awful lot of people seemed to be walking towards the front. Just checked webcam again and it's a downpour. I'll have to check again when the kids get home and see how motivated we all feel and what the radar looks like.

Almost all of the rides that were open due to the weather we’re running at reduced capacity with third trains on storage tracks until after the storm ended. The launch at top thrill also appears to be going through significant work as the trains have stayed on the storage track for the past two days.

Anyone at the park today? I know they were calling for rain most of the day up there. Where I live it's raining off and on.

Looking at the forecast and web cam the crowd seems very moderate and it looks like the rain threat is mostly over. High of 76F. Looks like a fantastic day to be there.

I was about to post the same thing. The park looks PACKED. Tomorrow is probably going to be crazy busy as well.

If I ran the world, one of CP's webcam's would ALWAYS point at the main gate so anyone considering going can see what the parking lot and midway crowds look like. The other views are fun, but a view of the cars going up and down Top Thrill Dragster don't tell me anything about how crowded the park is.

Right, as a passholder why would I want to add to the crowd if there are already wall to wall people? Less pleasant for me and the daily ticket people at the park.

Why would a business come up with ways to discourage customers from showing up?
Is it because enthusiasts prefer it that way?
I’m sure “the more the merrier” is actually the thought.

While there are exceptions, in general the cameras are focused away from the lot when it is very crowded.

Actually on busy days they only turn the webcams away from the parking lot to IP addresses connected to guests who still pay in cash.

All part of the plan.

Main midway webcam again shows a crowded day, looks similar to a Columbus Day weekend saturday.

It's a moderately busy summer Sunday but nowhere near Columbus Day Saturday.

After the guest situation at Knott's last night though, Power Tower is closed for the day.
