Any word or thought on a ride for 2006???

Jason, nice link. It's kind of entertaining to see a picture of a screamin swing and a screaming squirrel together.

Axel, we don't really need something like Deja Vu at CP. Too short... Short, fast rides work well and are cool, but I've heard that CP already has one... or used to. ;)

Brandon

Interesting new clue on the blog.

This is getting very boring... at least for us enthusiasts. We know that they know that we know about the conduit and the SS top and the markings in FT. They're trying to give clues, without really giving us any clues, if that makes any sense - they're just trying to drag it out and make the suspense last... *yawn*

Wake me up in may... ;)

Let's get a Vekoma boomerang!

67 pages. Unreal. I wonder if CP tracks who is coming to the blog and if it is more than just enthusiasts. It does beg the question of why you would wait to announce if the only people really eager to hear the announcement already know what it is.

As for markings on the Island, I wonder if they are considering building a bridge to the island so that you could walk to the back of the park without going left along the Trail or way right along the Power Tower midway.

I've often thought a trail across the island would cut off some serious walking and allow for some type of development on the island itself.

A path across the island would be a very good idea.

Yes, I agree.

That would be cool! leading to the Screamin' swings.

Bring back Boblo!

I still can't seem to find this anywhere and the video doesn't show the beginning of the ride. Is this thing launched or does it have a gradual start to maximum height? The SS picture has air launched painted on one of the ride supports. Does it launch off sort of like the space shot on power tower or does it start of slowly swinging like max air does?

i was under the impression that it shot you up. but not all the way on the first pass, kinda like WT, except that's with LIM's and the SS is compressed air.

I have a dumb question? What Ride are we talking about?

TTD 120mph's avatar

Well right now we're talking about having a bridge built to MF island.

-Adam G- The OG Dragster nut

Actually, nobody is doing much talking. It's more typing! :) I am such a Smarta$$. I forgot how hard it is to type drunk.

It would be stupid to construct a bridge to MF island. That area looks bad enough already with a coaster ripping through it. I love MF, but that was one of my favorite areas of the park before Camp Snoopy, MF, and Mantis were built.

Does it seem like there are an odd amount of parks all getting a Screamin Swing next year? Valleyfair, Lake Compounce, Kennywood...now Cedar Point.

The christmas bonus for S & S employees will be better than last years "jelly of the month" enrollment.

S&S must be having a clearance sale. ;)

That could be or it might be that every park wants one of these all at the same time.
