It might make it more thrilling Dan. Which half of the parts did we get? :)
The working ones. The rest can be sent to another park! :)

How confirmed is Cedar Points new Ride? Because I'm still hoping we see a water coaster for 06. I was also wondering if there was anymore action going on in WWL spot?
Spotted a few new red markings by White Water Landing Today. I went back and compared them to shots I took last week and the week before, and they are definatly new. Also, There was some new steel conduit stuffed inside the pvc under Mine Rides exit and a few new boxes are there as well.
It was pretty cold today so I didn't stay to long. I rode TTD and what would have been a 30 minute wait for the front car, ended up being about 1 hour and 15 minutes because of 3 seperate shutdowns due to weather and mechanical problems. However, by the time I got on, it was running much more smoothly. It was nice to get in another ride before the end of the season.
And this is for Shawn: Nothing is confirmed until Cedar Point announces it. However, many people have stong feelings that we are getting a SS, and based on the Piece in the SC lot, it seems very likely.

i just got back from cedar point too. and i saw the markings up close for the first time. i definatly think there is not than just a swing because the markings were spread out everywhere. unless they are for 2007.
i also went on dragster and while i was in line, i remember it being shutdown a few times too, i just didn't know why. Thanks for the info on why it was closed Jason.
This could be part of two year construction phase for Frontiertown. You could have the screamin Swing debut this year and maybe the water coaster for 06. That would be cool, but I only see the Screamin Swing. Cedar Point always surprises us so we'll have to wait and see. I can also see Cedar Point lowering their gate prices. I betcha we'll see the price go down to $37. I'm sure families can afford that.
Shawn,
How can you be sure families can afford $37.00 PER PERSON, just to walk in? The cost to visit CP is a lot more than the price of a ticket in, you know. Your family may have the means to cough up the price, but many, many others don't even have the means to get there...let alone feed themselves in the park.
A trip to CP is expensive. You don't seem to get that.

I was at the park today as well and I am guessing that the consistent rain was a HGUE part of Dragster's downtime. I got 2 rides in on it, but it was closed for several hours at a time today, and the rain just seemed to turn on and off throughout operational hours.
I didn't see too many markings, and nothing has really changed from what is being talked about and shown (pictures) around here. Guess it's really just a waiting game at this point.

So you're saying they are going to have the SS open this year, 05, and the water coaster open the first day of 06 operation? Riiiiiiiight. ;)

Oh how I wish the rain was off and on here in Tallmadge. It was our Homecoming lastnight, and it was freezing rain the entire night. I'm just feel sorry for the girls, they must have froze.
Sorry, Off topic.
oh and how it was freezing at the park, too.
The wind was right beside us all day. It was a very cold, windy, rainy day yesterday, and the park was STILL crowded for some reason! =P
Yesterday seemed packed, but my friends and I were able to get on Millennium in about an hour and a half (in the cold, in the rain :)).
I also glanced in the SC lot and didn't see the blue tarp. Is it still there?

Yeah, I'll agree with you guys on the crowds Saturday. I was thinking "Its cold, it’s raining, it's not going to be crowded.” But I don’t think I've ever been to the park when it was that crowded. And the line for Under Taker U., OMG!!!! I didn't get to go on any haunted attraction! :(

Yes, the tarp is still there.
