Any word or thought on a ride for 2006???

I wonder what CP would name their new coaster? Any suggestions? All of their names are unique so I can't think of a great one right now. Snoopys Revenge? lol

If they were to put dueling flyers back there, they could call it High Noon. That would be perfect with the Western theme of Frontier Town and the dueling concept. A floorless in FT could be called Stampede.

I like your idea FrontierDale, I can see a good layout but you would have to take out the cadilac cars.

Or they could call the duel flyer "the last stand".

Yin & Yang would be cool......not a fitting name to the theme but still cool.
And if Antique cars have to be taken out, then I say DO. Personally, I wouldn't miss them. After all, we would still have Cadillac Cars and Turnpike Cars.

Anyway back on topic, I'll do some snooping around the area, when I go next time, and see what I can see. If I do see anything I'll get a picture of it. And if anybody else here is going soon, check the area out as well.

i will be leaving here shortly for another trip to c. point. when i get over that way, i'll look at the area in question. if i don't forget, i will whip out the digital camera and photograph the "footer" in question.

I hope this doesn't turn out as bad as when someone said they saw suports at MM waiting to be erected and it turned out to be sewer piping.

Flyers suck.

I have often thought that the area of the park where the old sky ride used to be would be a great spot for a new ride or coaster. I have to agree with Jeff about the Flyers. I would much rather see a coaster that was 400 plus feet with inversions and big drops. I guess my dream coaster would take all of the existing coasters and put into one. As far as putting another water ride in, I would rather see antoher coaster. I will be at the park later this month and plan on investagating all of these interesting facts that have been brought up.

Especially when you're stuck in flying position for around a half hour in the final brakes of Superman: Ultimate Fight at SFGrAm. :)

i think it will be one more flat ride. i hope it will be something no one has seen befor. people are saying a top spin. i have rode one and it hirts. a new water ride could be cool for 06 then in 07 a new roller coaster . and as for the fly yea i think it fun for the first time but after that it starts to get old .

Flyers are to slow looking........I don't want to ride a coaster that looks slow. I'd pick X-Flight over Superman:UF any day!
As for a flat ride......it is up there in the possibility chart but it's also on the unlikely chart. We'll just have to wait until we start seeing some obvious signs of construction.
Let's just hope for something good.......and fast......and tall. ;)

A ride like Sky Swat at Astroworld would be amazing. But I still want a new coaster.

I don't care what it is. For 07 Im hearing rumors about the proposed 500 foot coaster. My theory is Cedar Point is out of room to fit something like that in.
