Any predictions on the new Wing-Coasters name?

Sorry if this was posted, but this article says a more clear announcement will be made in 30 days.

I hate the suspense!

do people read the article? They say the two rides that are being removed, yet people still are saying "I bet Blue Streak is getting removed," or "Hope they don't remove a good coaster."

No people do not tend to read anything! Cedar Point has blown up with the social networking and the GP still seems clueless. I wish I knew the exact percentage of guests who come to the park next year looking for Disaster Transport still.

I'm sure there's at least 30% of guests will be looking for both rides, and maybe even confusing WindSeeker with the Space Spiral.

*rolls eyes* People these days. I heard someone in Millenium Force's line queue say "Wasn't this built like last year?", total face palm moment right there.

Am I the only one who heard Bryan say "not all the rumors are true", after confirming the two true rumors about SS and DT being removed?

Maybe it's not a wing coaster after all?

Yeah, I heard that as well. I don't know if I should look into it too much or just let it slide..

I have been saying all along, I believe that there's a good chance it's not a wing coaster, but a 4th dimension coaster, as there are hints that, though subtle, make me believe it.

And some people take those hints to be a flying coaster.

I am thinking more and more we will see the first 4th dimension rollercoaster from B&M. This coaster TECHNICALLY was still under Kinzel and could possibly be his last hurrah. You know that CP does not really copy and a standard wingrider that other parks have already built, just does not sound right to me. We shall see!

I don't think it will be a copy if it's taller, faster, longer, etc.

That is true but I read that B&M has been working on making the next version of a wingrider into a 4th dimension. I dont remember where I read that though but it would be pretty sweet.

You mean the "hint" in Ouimet's memo that specifically mentions the reliability of the first installation of a wing rider in Italy?

I don't see any reason as to why thus couldn't be a 4th dimension. I'm sure Wing Coasters are great, but I'd love to have something truly unique after waiting 5 years.

You mean, aside from the CEO of the company saying that it won't be?

As for uniqueness, there are 7 4D coasters on Earth, and 5 wing riders on Earth. CP's would be the 6th, meaning a 4D would be less unique than a wing rider.

But there are 0 4th dimensions anywhere close to Cedar Point. There are 2 Wing Coasters close to Cedar Point. I just don't see the people from Illinois, Kentucky or Tennessee making the trip when they have one in their backyard. With a 4th dimension, you have to travel all the way to Los Angeles to ride one, actually two.

The number of people who travel to a specific park to ride a specific type of coaster is completely negligible.

I'm not the guy who started the "Cedar Point flyer all but confirmed" thread on Coasterbuzz. :)

It is gonna be a Wingrider. Period.

Sorry. You bore the brunt of my annoyance at the silly but what if it's all just a conspiracy to throw us off the scent of the 500 foot paddlewheel coaster people. :)
