Another Blogger Bites the Dust!

^Other than that and the GateKeeper teasers, nothing really exited me too much. But overall, I DID enjoy the updates. It's just seemed average and something the GP would post.

I agree. The blog should be focused on giving an "insiders" view in my opinion. Facebook is for posting advertising. It gets way more views than a blog post.

She seems very nice, excited to see all the photos! It looks like the lift hill will be starting soon.

Not going to lie, the picture of the track for top of the lift hill gave me goosebumps!

I could be wrong. but, I believe this is Colleen Murphy the former GM at Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom. I'm told that Bill Spehn went back to Wildwater Kingdom and that a Colleen came to Cedar Point. I'm assuming it's the same Colleen considering the caliper of the responsibilities her new position would entail.

On the link above there is a pic of a small crane. When I saw the name on it, particularly the way it is written with the "X" in color, I had to do a double take... looked like "maXair" to me for a sec... or maybe it's just the offseason blues...

This is correct. Weird that she is handling the blog though and not someone from Marketing/PR.

She will oversee aquatics and ride operations. So yeah, it is in operations position and not something that would normally involve marketing.

Bill Spehn going back to Wildwater Kingdom sounds like a demotion. I hope that isn't the case. Does anybody know the story behind that?
