He didn't do one with Skyhawk. Those were all T&T, so we'll have to see.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
He didn't do one with maXair either. The construction of both those rides is so short compared to a coaster that there isn't really a point to it.
I remember maXair. In one day they had all 4 legs up and the motor attached. The next day they had the arm attached. A few days later, the spokes were on, and shortly the seats. In less than 2 weeks they had gone from nothing to assembled.
With a coaster, the construction is much more drawn out and less of it is "behind the scenes". With maXair and SkyHawk, the main erection took days, a couple weeks tops, and then lots and lots of wiring and stuff that just doesn't translate well into a blog or a construction journal. With a coaster, all the stuff is going on while track is still being put up. And the track takes months to get up and lends itself very well to a blog or diary. There are some very key milestones that can be documented for a coaster (topping the hill, building the station, theming installation, testing, first riders). With the flats you've got "Yeah, so yesterday we put the whole thing up, took us about 12 hours, but we got it up." and then 3 months later when the wiring is done and been tested - "So today we finally loaded up some water dummies and began our break-in tests". There just isn't as much to cover with the flats.
OK - so now that I've talked this to death, what were we discussing again?
(Oh, and don't count MrScott wrong yet, I also still think water will be involved with this ride)
Goodbye MrScott

No, the station's staying there because they're somehow going to place track through it for a station fly-by. OR it was left because of the high speed turn through the station. Cause, you know how light track is and easily moved in tight spaces. ;)

I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about them tearing out the station. :) But, I knew it wasn't going to be used for a fly-through. he he!! As a side note, I think it looks awesome combined with the new station. That was great thinking on their part.
The funniest thing I remember from the anticipation was the whole wingwalker, flyer, invert and aquatrax thing. There was just nothing to support those ideas, yet people still claimed they were POSITIVE that's what we were getting. LOL!!
I think my favorite thing was watching people get bashed for starting a new thread about something that was already posted in another thread about 5 pages in, but the original thread was about something completely different. I read through almost every topic and every post in here, and I would say that about 99.9 percent of topics after about 1 1/2 pages gets completely off topic, and personally, we shouldn't have to read through pages and pages of crap that has nothing to do with the original subject of that thread.
R.I.P. Mr Scott--I hope you find your lifthill to heaven.
First roller coaster ride was 1999. I had no clue what I was missing.
Oh don't get me wrong I know it isn't. This is actually one of the better sites that I belong to. I belong to some other ones that have nothing to do with coasters and those make this site seem like we are all best friends and would loan each other money in a heartbeat.
