Anyway I can confirm as well that Dragster was running 6 trains on Saturday(18th October) but sometime in late afternoon, it was down to 5 trains, I know they had a few problems on saturday with a few rollbacks and brakedowns and they kept leaving the back 2/3rows empty but slowly but surely, the trains were eventually being loaded full up.
On Sunday, there was a 5 train op, yet queues were good throughout the day, there was actually a long delay in the morning and it didnt actually open until approx 10.30AM because they had some major problems testing it,One train rollbacked 3-4 times and yet when that train eventually made it over, the next train rollbacked 2 times, finally after about 5 successful test runs we were allowed in, and believe it or not, the ride ran pretty much ran faultless after that apart from 1 brakedown in the afternoon, and 1 brakedown around 7.30PM but it was always quickly back up. Also if there is any Dragster Crew on these forums, You guys deserve a pat on the back because you guys were superb during Sunday(At around 4PM, The queue was only 35-40 mins from the Coke Machines when I've been told it normally takes 1hr from there, now thats impressive) Also trains were being launched about every 30 seconds and everyone was working well together and keeping ALL TRAINS FULL and calling out for single riders at any oppotunity, Great Stuff.
Dragster certaintly was awesome, no dought I will wanna try and get back here ASAP :)

to clear things up for you all- as a co-worker of mine, Brent explained on another message board, we are able to run in a fast mode (known as dry mode) which speeds the trains up by i think 30%. but this can only happen on dry days with upper management clearance. if we run in dry mode with 6 trains, and everything from the workers to the hydraulics, we SHOULD have faster intervals. but as you all know this doesn't always happen. plus the last train launched has to clear into the brake blocks before another train can be launched. the way the 6th train helps out is this: when the trains pull forward, we would always have 4 trains to move into the station, load and unload. with 5 trains we have only one train to pull into unload (because one in launch, transfer, and two in load), so we have to wait on the train in launch to launch, clear the break blocks and pull into unload. by the time the train pulls in and the people head out of the train, the 5th train will have launch and cleared the tower and load is waiting for unload to clear, to move trains. but this does produce some stacking of trains.
thanks again for the compliments! :) and if you still have questions- email me at akboehlke@bsu.edu
