Thanks for all of the advice, I'm actually going to school to be an RN right now (2 semesters left after this one) and want to do an RN to paramedic transition when I'm done because you can do that if you're already a NREMT in Ohio.
Quick word of advice either route you take. If you see Asystole on the telemetry, please check leads before calling a code and starting compressions...
New RN a few months ago did that...lets just say the guy was sleeping very well up until that point...
Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, & Monster/ Witches Wheel Crew 2011
Thanks for the advice! I have heard of that happening before... always have to check the carotid... lol
I am thinking about working at CP next Summer as a Ride Operator/Hostess but I might be to old. Well 31 is still young.
2007-2008 WDW Train Conductor
2009 Ride Operator for the Worlds Tallest Skycoaster
2008-2010 WDW Attractions Hostess
2018- MA Ride Operator
^ When I worked there in 2005, one guy in the apartment I lived in down at commons was in his mid 50's, no joke. He always threatened to call security on us.

I actually know quite a few people that old/older that work in ride ops. Mind you, it's not like Disney where there's like 60% of your cast is made up of adults, but still.
2010: Millennium Force & Mantis
2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper
I would like to apply for a fireman on the CP&LE. My love and passion for trains and wanting to get my hands dirty with maintenance, operation and upkeep could go some direction.
It would be nice if the park nearest me, Carowinds, still had the Carowinds & Carolinas Railroad. It closed a few years before I was born. I wonder if a railroad may be in Carowinds' expansion plans.
Three other distant parks have railroad: Six Flags over Georgia (Austell, GA), Tweetsie Railroad (Blowing Rock, NC) and Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN).
I'll send my application to my local agency tomorrow which will arrange a Skype interview with the partner organization called CIEE in the states! Wish me luck! Cedar Point 2014!!!!
Does anyone know when the online application will be working again? Its currently "under maintenance". Or does anyone know who I can email? I kind of need to apply now because I would like to work at Castaway Bay in the winter until summer season.
If you want to work at Castaway Bay call HR and they will do an offline application.
