If you have the natl cert & Ohio EMT you probably are good...Maybe BLS but usually you get that with EMT courses nowadays..
I'd honestly if you ever have time, go for EMT-P..it's always worth it, I doubt you'll ever see that stuff needed at an amusement park, but hell, it's always good to say "look what I can do"

Being able to say "look what I can do" will also earn you more money. Depending on where you get hired you can sometimes get the schooling paid for by contracting to work a certain amount of time after you complete the course. My husband got his paid for by a rural EMS department he was working for part time.
Yup...
Plus EMT-B in Ohio is pretty lame...you'll pretty much amount to C-Spine on the outside, you can't even start an IV and push fluids. EMT-P you basically can act under a much wider protocol and better standing orders than any EMT-B

I have a question. Do you guys think that I would be able to get a job with having bad grades? I try really hard in school but always had trouble. Just sitting still in class reading from books the whole day was never my thing. I usually get D's and C's in school. Do you guys think I have a low chance getting in as a ride host? I really want this job bad!
