Slight interruption. The Main Midway Cam is no longer showing the area in front of the Coliseum. It's now looking down the Iron Dragon Midway to show that construction.
^Which I hope means they will move the Pagoda Cam since they are both basically looking at the same thing now.

Is anyone else concerned that this stage could potentially be a new eye sore replacing a worse one, or is there a blind faith in Ouimet?
Even if it will be an eyesore, its only blocking the view of Iron Dragon's transfer tracks, so no big deal there. It's just a stage so it won't really be amazing to look at in the daytime, no stages are (unless you are into that sort of thing). Guests will at least be able to walk down that midway without being forced to look at a giant movie screen.
Hopefully they put it in Soak City.

Faith is believing in something for which there is no evidence. There's plenty of evidence to suggest Ouimet knows what he's doing.

Replace "Quimet" with "Holmgren", and you'd think the Browns are playoff bound... just sayin'.
And while it's true that Ouimet knows Disney...his expertise is with a global theme park entity, which may not correlate 1:1 to Cedar Fair opperations...

But unlike Ouimet, Holgrem has done nothing but more of the same. And while it's true that Holmgren knows coaching...his expertise is with being on the sidelines, which may not correlate 1:1 to managing a pathetic excuse for a football franchise.
Promoter of fog.
They just turned Pagoda Cam. It now looks toward the front of the park. Lots of activity.
Yes. I read they will be relocated eslewhere. I'm guessing maybe by Wildcat across from the new stage.

When do we start giving the GM credit for the improvements being made to the park?

Ouimet is doing a great job already because he's letting the GM's do what they want. At least that's the impression I get.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker
I think at least as much credit needs to go to the GMs as to Ouimet.
It's just Ouimet is getting "more" of the credit right now because he is what changed to allow the changes to happen.

This season, based on what we've learned of internal machinations at the park. Giving credit to Ouimet doesn't mean others don't get credit as well. With all the intelligent, overdue moves being made in the park, there's more than enough kudos to go around.

If the only executive decision Matt Ouimet made, the ONLY one, was to tell the General Managers that they had the autonomy to do what they needed to do in their parks within a prescribed budget then he has done mountains of good compared to the later years of Kinzel.

Agreed.
However, when things go wrong the person in charge gets blamed so it would really be fair then when it's going good they get a lot of the credit too. But that credit should be his management style thus far.
