2010 Platinum Pass Question

Chase, did you park at the marina entrance or did you park at the main entrance? I have wanted to try using the marina gate for a while.

Parked in the main lot. Usually get there around 8:30, which gets you pretty much front row parking, then just cut through the bus lot, hop the split rail fence between there and the small employee lot and follow the blue "walkway" all the way to the gate. We figure we're gonna walk that far anyway, so might as well knock out 2/3 of the walk before the gate opens.

Honestly, I haven't wanted to try parking in the marina lot, as I'm not sure if it requires a special parking pass, and would rather not come out and find my car towed. We also use the picnic area for lunch, so the main lot is a lot closer to haul the cooler to and from the car at lunch time.

The marina lot does require a special pass. You wouldn't have to worry about being towed though, as the guard wouldn't let you in to begin with.
