Webcam #2 is pointed directly at Rougarou. Every time it reaches the top of the lift-hill someone resembling Shawn Meyer is waving at the camera. Just joking Shawn and I hope you and your girlfriend have an enjoyable day.

I hope Rougarou isn't jealous.

Webcams today, Sunday, show a haze/pollution ? Is it just extreme humidity( moisture from the rains evaporating) showing that effect ?

there have been 2 trailers in the parking lot.... if you look at the east webcam... any thoughts? that is unusual for them to drop 2 trailers off smack dab in the parking lot.....hmmmm....

Maybe it's for the 150th anniversary. Maybe the floats are on there.

My guess . . . They are full of fireworks, getting ready for the 4th.

That would be one hell of a show if those were full of pyro.

They also could just be any type of delivery for the park and are waiting instructions on where to go for the drop.

Maybe they're going to do my dream fireworks show - a panoramic display circling the peninsula. That's totally feasible, safe, and not expensive... right?

Where would be the best place to watch such a show from ?

I dropped a theoretical map on here a few years back of where I would place all the launching platforms. I'll see if I can find it.

^^ Pulled up the web cam...I was curious. HOLY COW!! I havent seen the parking lot so full in a very long time.

That is so full, if I pulled in the lot and saw it so packed...I'd turn around and head back home.

Updated to reflect realities. Give me the budget and I can make it happen :)

There's also a webcam that I watch, not by CP, but a weather camera.

It's on roof of their hotel shooting towards TTD and MF.

weatherbug.com/weather-camera/?cam=SADKY

it also has a 'time lapse' embedded for/in it.

Planned on a 10:30 arrival at CPS yesterday but traffic was so bad in Sandusky it took an hour to get to the causeway. There was an accident or something that took a lane out which may have been causing the whole jam.

The park was packed with 45 min FLP waits and 45-60 waits on Blue Streak, CCMR and Corkscrew. You get the idea. However you wouldn’t know it by the F&B lines, I was really impressed. Never waited more than 5 minutes for a Freestyle refresh, only issue was towards evening 1/2 or more of the syrups were out on FS and regular refresh stands.

It was like the old CP that knew how to handle crowds was back in business. Whatever the reason I sure hope they can keep it up.

Was able to make CP and CPS reservations late on Wednesday so they don’t really seem to be capping attendance to the degree they did a couple weeks ago.
