ROTFLMAO. Now that's some funny s**t!

I don't know which is funner THAT^ or being with your frightened friends, flooring the gas pedal of Antique Cars through the Zombies during Halloweekends, and the car going slower than hell. Hysterical. THAT made my day.

Honestly, if Cedar Point was building a flying coaster, I would like to see them try and pull off a launched one.

Yes, watch me grab that carp!

From the pictures it look like X Flight's trains positioned riders at the exact same angle as the lift hill whilst loading, leading to a completely seamless "incline to lie" experience on the hill proper when the trains reclined there. I can't get over how cool that sounds, or how much cooler and more elegant the reclining Flying Dutchmans look in the station compared to the rather generic B&M style which just looks like a fancy invert.

Did anybody here ride X Flight when the trains reclined on the hill? What was it like?

If we build it, they will come.

It didn’t recline on the hill all that often. I think maybe 3 of my rides might have worked out that way. It was more comfortable than being on your back in the station, but ultimately forgettable. The B&M version is far more comfortable.

After going to KI, a standard answer of either a dark ride or GCI woodie. I would say for KI BTW a giga coaster for them.

CPS needs a 4 slide complex similar to the one Beech Bend installed last year.

At first I was going to ham on my keyboard to blurt out that we already have a small "complex" made of Point Plummet and Portside Plunge but then I read the comment. Honestly, that four slide complex looks like a lot of fun. Harmony of the Seas has something similar called "the perfect storm". I sometimes think it would be really cool if they had a flowrider surfing simulator.

I think a dark ride in Frontier Town would be really nice. Have the queue start where the shooting gallery currently is, cross over the train tracks, and go under Steel Vengeance and into its infield. Decorate the show building with a western town facade.

The ride itself could be called "Boneville Blasters" and be a Triotech shooting dark ride similar to Iron Reef and Ninjago. It'd be pretty fun and something Cedar Point could operate in inclement weather.

Are those "shooting rides" really that popular? I find them to be quite awful.

Toy Story Midway Mania

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin

Justice League: Battle for Metropolis

I personally haven't seen Buzz go over a 40-minute wait, but 60 minutes on Toy Story was normal. On my few visits to Six Flags GAm the wait for Justice League has been as long as 60 minutes as well.

I don't make it down to Kings Island very often these days, but I remember Boo Blasters on Boo Hill having a longer wait than Racer, Bat, or Vortex on my visits, in part I'm assuming to it being such a family-friendly ride and able to operate regardless of the weather.

If people are willing to wait an hour to ride them, they must be doing ok.

"Boneville blasters"? I like it.

Put it in frontier town and you have something that families could enjoy.

I much rather have a dark ride like Flight of Fear compared to a shooter in Boo Blasters.

Okay. My idea is to have it tie in to Steel Vengeance by themeing it to Digger. Basically you go into a mine and get launched out by the explosion that cost him his arm. Something like that.

My friend thinks that next year that Cedar Point is tearing down Snake river falls and replacing it with a gci wooden rollercoaster. Anybody else heard this rumor?

Considering it’s a ride they don’t have to staff until Memorial Day and they can’t even properly staff a coke freestyle stand, it may not be wise to tear it down.

God I would be sad if they tore down SRF. That ride is definitely better than thunder canyon.

It is embarrassing that a park like CP doesn't have a log flume... Eventually, they will realize that a ride does not have to be 500 feet high or travel upside down at 66 mph to be entertaining. A nicely themed log ride NOT made by Intimin would be great

Someone asked at the Q&A yesterday if CP had any plans to put in a flume. The answer given was basically, log flumes were a staple in most modern theme parks, basically parks built in the 1970s onward and most log flumes are reaching the end of their useful lives. And they said not many manufacturers supply such types of rides these days and there isn't much demand for them.

Isn't much demand... from parks or riders? I think they're some of the best rides out there. Plus they're so simple to build.

I never understood the demand for log flumes in the first place. Yes, they’re family oriented rides, but just like indoor rides, the popularity of them just isn’t there outside of the enthusiast’s point of view.
