It looks fantastic! I just love the past few years the increase in detail and thought behind the story/theme of the attractions. The trains visually look very cool, I am excited to see what else they have in store (lighting, music, additional theming not yet shown).

The original structure lighting from Mean Streak will make this ride look immaculate at night.

Nope. Planning on borrowing the wife’s yoga shorts for this ride. :D

“The ride is terrible and you shouldn't ride it!”. Straight from the horses mouth. Tearing up my Preview Nights tickets, not wasting $30 on gas.

Looking at that picture of Tony And Jason, I can't help but notice that they're holding on to the grips for dear life. The airtime must be ridiculous.

^ You're probably right about the airtime, but I could be wrong in thinking that every time i've seen official CP / Cedar Fair on ride stuff, they are always pretty much holding on? Have you ever seen any pics/videos of Tony or any other officials with their hands up on a coaster? I think it has something to do with how they have "guidelines" on how to ride, such as keeping your hands in the car/train etc.

I agree, im pretty sure they will always be shown holding on. Every promo video or picture of riders from the park show people holding on. It is part of the Safety guidelines. Can't tell people to hold on if you don't. Also i usually hold on for anything other than airtime because my arms are too heavy when pulling those types of G's, I don't know how people an keep them up at all times.

As a former CF employee I can confirm you are not allowed to ride as a CF employee without holding on.

We terminated employment at GL for ops who would test ride with hands in the air.

For them to tell you to hold on to something, you'd think they would give you something to hold on to. There's not much there, it seems.

Most of the RMC restraints have straps on the side bars of the restraints for holding on to. That's why they're reaching down so far. It's not a metallic bar on the top of the restraint or on a seat back, like other ride vehicles use.

There's plenty to hold on to.

These handle/straps are what I'm seeing on Steel Vengeance. This picture is from Twisted Timbers though.

They also have installed these grab bar things (I don't know what they're called) on each side of the restraint on Twisted Timbers..

There’s only two, one on the outside of each seat. Which tells me that handle is not for your convenience, but for the ride ops’. Unless something's changed, their restraints are stiff as hell and difficult times get up and down.
The thing I find disconcerting on RMC trains is the lack of a grab bar. Sure, I can hang on to the restraint, the dent, the strap, or whatever but I always have the unsettling feeling that if it goes I’m going with it.

Since the previous testing video was taken down due to being shot from within the park, here's another one taken from across the bay: https://www.facebook.com/cprundown/videos/1725069270919504/

Even from this distance, it's still incredible to see how much speed this thing carries throughout the layout.

It may be Skyhawk but it is not sanctioned by the park so we can’t post or link to it here.

The sides of an RMC restraint are I-beams, so you can hold on to the top flange of the I-beam on the inside and the handle on the outside.

Lightning Rod has added these handles on the restraints.

There is one one each side of the restraint. Twisted Timbers has these as well. I couldn't find a picture, but I definitely used them a couple of times.
