Next Friday can't come soon enough. I have a feeling that time is about to slow way down, my anticipation is at an all time high. I haven't been this excited for a coaster since we heard that forceful announcement back in 1999.
I agree, but I also think they could use a bit more decoration.

Personally, I think it's perfect as is. There's still some landscaping to be done around the base of the sign but I wouldn't be surprised if that's as far as it goes for the actual sign.

It would be kind of cool if there was water on the sign though.

I can't wait to see how this thing looks in the pouring rain. Almost like the dark side of Frontiertown.
RMC streak or bust!
Is there regular POV out yet? I haven't seen one without the cuts to Tony & Co.

This is as good as you're gonna get:
...for now
2003 - Wicked Twister
2004 - Wicked Twister/Top Thrill Dragster
Looks like they are cycling at least 2 trains at a time, likely all 3. Once a train clears the mid course block brake, another one is starting up the lift.
Bodes well for all 3 to be certified and hopefully running smooth for the previews and opening day!

Beard man riding with Tony and Jason looks so thrilled (2:03 mark)...
Maybe BeardyMcBeardFace (as he was called on another site) was told to sit there and wait for the interview to be over.

Tony just posted the height requirement is now 52”. Safety first, but there will certainly be some disappointment.
As much as it is a disappointment, I honestly wasn't surprised. I mean, it has the most airtime of any coaster in existence, it's a long ride, and is likely to be extremely intense. In any case, I'm glad that the park is still dedicated as always to their safety protocols on their new attractions.
I agree, 48" just seemed incredibly low for such an intense ride, and the rationale that Tony posted on the CP blog (that similarly intense rides like Maverick and Top Thrill Dragster are set at 52") makes sense. Quite honestly, even 52" just seems a little too short (54" sounds better to me), but if it's safe, then the height requirement certainly shouldn't be too unnecessarily restrictive. And who knows? Millennium Force was originally 54" in its first season before being reduced to 48", so I wonder if the same could happen for Steel Vengeance. Of course, it's totally apples to oranges.
Intensity has nothing to do with height requirements. The human factors of the restraint dictate height requirements.
