Well all we can really conclude is that this certainly supports the dive coaster rumors. Those are clearly B & M dirt piles, and are very similar to those spotted on the construction sites of both Griffon and Sheikra when they started going up. To quote the poet Flo Rida, "G.D.F.R."

Not that it should be a surprise but Magnum and Mean Streak are up now.

It's for their new tree farm!
This... Oh man... I really hope it's this! CP really needs more trees!
Magnum and Mean Streak have been added to the growing coaster wall. They seem to be adding two a week now and with that, if they continue at this rate, puts Gatekeeper and Rougarou up mid July.
I also think that they messed up the length of Mean Streak. The sign says 2 minutes and 45 seconds, but I'm pretty sure the ride is 3 minutes and 10 seconds.

That's the pre-trim-brake time on the wall.

Wikipedia and RCDB both say 3:13.

A slightly fact challenged article ("American Dark") from Ohio.com....

I know the trims slow things down but 25 seconds seems like too much.
If you watch the Official Mean Streak POV that Cedar Point posted on Youtube, the video is exactly 2:45.

Well I'd trust Wikipedia anyday over Cedar Point who actually owns and operates Mean Streak...
Absolutely. Anonymous Internet posters are always more reliable than the actual businesses involved.... :-)

Well, it really is trivial but...Wikipedia cites RCDB for the ride time, and I have a hard time believing RCDB would be using a number that wasn't listed officially somewhere. I wonder if there isn't an original stat sheet from 1991 which is different.
Here is something interesting. Here is the official POV matched up with an older POV from the 90's (the second POV is actually from the ride simulators that were in many malls). Notice how much slower the lift is in the older video.
