I'm not sure if this has been brought up...but any news on the dramatic lighting that these windseekers are supposed to have? On the websites, they say the lighting will be impressive and great for both rider and viewer...so i was just wondering if anyone has heard what to expect?

It was just a question, or does really no one know?

I think no one really knows. :)
I do know that Kings Island confirmed that there will be tower floods for their Windseeker.

I'm sure if it's anything impressive, it won't be impressive for long. Knowing CP's maintenance on theming.

haha right!...and I thought it interesting that more information about the construction dates, lighting, ect. were on (at least) kI's website than CP
Speaking of, has it been said when actual parts are to show up on the construction site?

not specifically. They recently tweeted that the parts had left the factory and were on their way. Someone else on here who did the park tour said that ride construction would begin in March. While it may not seem like much time, its probably more than enough for construction and testing. If I guessed, not including the gondola, the tower is probably in 5-6 individual parts.

It looks like Kings Island has more done for the WINDSEEKER at that Park. I see Kings Island Opens earlier then Cedar Point. That is probably why they have more done.

Kings Island also tweeted a few weeks ago that they were testing the lighting, but they didn't have a picture.

If WindSeeker's lighting package is anything like the new LED lighting package the 300 foot Skycoaster in Kissimmee, FL received, I'd be really excited for it. I saw the Skycoaster's lighting in person a few days ago, and it's really impressive. You can see it in this Youtube video.

Something like that on Windseeker could possibly make it the COOLEST thing at the park.

To me, it looks like that lighting is actually on the ride itself. Windseeker's lights at KI were said to be tested on their Drop Tower ride. I assume that this means the lights will be at the base and just shine up the tower. Just a guess though. :)

I can't get the link to work and I don't know what to search for on youtube.

EDIT: Is it the one at Fun Spot because all I see is white lights?

Sorry about the link. I pulled it from another source, but couldn't verify it since I posted it at work and Youtube is blocked. But yes, it's the Skycoaster at Fun Spot. The new LED lights were installed last fall I believe. Before then it was just spotlights on the tower at night.
