I am across the river in the suburbs of Detroit. Your speling of labour gave it away. :)

Well, I gave my imput from what I knew on past Labour Days and I was wrong for this year. It was very busy today! 1 hour for Maverick, MF, Dragster. 45 Minutes from Raptor, Magnum. 2010 was definitely a busier year for the park.

So you're saying that even a best guess on attendance can be off? That there are guidelines, but you never really know until you get there?

It's almost as if we know what we're talking about. :)

To anyone who was at the park: Did anyone think the park felt more crowded Sunday than it did Saturday? It just might be me. This is how it was in 2008.

^^Agreed. No one can predict what the crowds will be. But I still think it is worth something to give some trends with regards to a holiday weekend.

And I would have to disagree with Vince's trends. I have not experienced light crowds on Labor Day (notice the proper spelling). Although yesterday was heavier than I have seen in the past.

Saturday and Monday, to me even though the main parking lot was only about 3/4 full, the lines for most rides, both coasters and flats were longer that they usually are based on the amount of cars in the lot. It appeared people came to ride.

And yet despite people providing that info, they were still wrong, and the actual results were completely different.\

Hence - "No one knows what the crowd will be like on a specific day."

You are correct. But what is wrong with providing someone with a trend? That is all the person was originally looking for.

Oh well. I guess we will stick with just the black and white facts from now on on this website. Sounds like fun.

Just like a sporting event, pick your sport. They analize before the game and usually the game doesn't go the way they say it would.

It boils down to "you never know".

Thank you guys. You guys were spot on. It was very crowded on Sunday, Yesterday was much less crowded. Probably by about half or so I think. Thank you.

To DJ and Jugga You guys really need to get a life. You guys act like self righteous Jerks.

I went on Friday banking on it being dead until 4:00 p.m. or so and it worked great. It rained, hard, until about 10:30, then the clouds parted and it was perfect weather. We were able to hit every coaster we wanted and get out of there by 3:30. Some of the shortest lines I saw all year. Drag/Mill/Mav were all under 30 mins.

It doesn't shock me the park was packed after that, the weather was great and it was a holiday weekend. Glad it worked out for you though :)
