Additions to the fountain this year?

CPboy77

It looks as if they have added some more sprayers on the outside that shoot in. It looks way cooler.

It also looks as if they added some new padding on the outside of the fountain.

Padding sounds like a good idea. With all of the little kids running through the fountain, it's a hurt child just waiting to happen.

Last time I was there this 14-15 yr old kid ran through while his buddies watched and he absolutely leveled (accidentally) a small 3 or 4 year old girl. You could tell he felt like a moron, but that stuff has gotten happen a lot.

Speaking of the fountain. I just posted this video yesterday.

I must say, the fountains are stunning after dark. All in all, this addition to the park (for the investment it was) is a home run.

I've seen better. The one at the Avenue at Tower City Center in Cleveland comes to mind.

The fountain at Tower City is very uninspiring.

You have to be kidding me, right? Sure it's not the Bellagio fountains, but it's the next best thing. Do I HAVE to post the stories about this fountain, and why it's amazing, besides the fact they time it to 3 songs, it plays every hour on the half hour, they turn the lights off, etc.

Please. Get with it sir.

You could just point out that your opinion differs from his.

Keep in mind that CP only had a small area to work with. What they chose nicely complements the space available. Sure, they could have done something far more grand, but it would have required a bigger footprint.

And it is nice for the area it fits in. But I don't know why these people are acting like it's the second coming of fountain christ.

Exactly who was acting in that way? Ensign - the only person to heap praise on it - said that it was a great addition, relative to the cost.

And why does it matter to you, that these people have this opinion?

Tis a sad individual who does not know one of the greatest movie quotes of all time.

What does this have to with the fountain?

That was the answer to the question dj couldn't seem to answer.

And how does a very intriguing and insightful quote from Davy Jones explain you wrongly accusing others of hyperbole, while yourself engaging in it?
