Hi my name is Brad, I'm a 19 year old college student from Michigan and just got hired to work the Monster ride. Does anyone know where the best place to live is?

Bayside is pretty tits, other then that Commons Dorms has air and heat so thats nice. On Point Dorms are cheap and hot. Chances are you'll end up in the commons dorms.

Bayside are apartments and theres also Commons Apartments. Bayside is the best because you get a kitchen and bathroom and living room and not too many roommates. Commons Apartments are terrible with up to 15 people living in the same apartment with 2 bathrooms a kitchen and living room. You may be able to get into Bayside may 9th, but i still think your best bet would be common dorms.

Some locations in Commons, like the lobby's will get you wifi. Other than the rec center at commons and in cedars have wifi.

There is wi-fi when it's actually working. It's definitely doesn't have enough up time to be able to count on having it when you want to use it.

As for working there, I'd say go for it. Many people find out it's the best experience of their lives. That was certainly the case for me. Some people hate it, but like most things, it is what you make of it. If you go with an open mind looking to have fun, meet new friends, work hard, and be prepared for long hours, it could be the best summer of your life. If you don't get along with new people or don't like working long, sometimes hard hours, it might not be for you.

are friends allowed to visit and chill for a few days?

They have to be 18 to come and visit inside any of the employee housing areas and they have to be out by midnight, so you cannot have friends who don't work at Cedar Point stay overnight in your room, no.

Whenever you are off, you can do whatever you want. The meetings and seminars etc are done at the beginning of the season, or right as you process in if it's later in the summer. Alot of people clock out, change clothes, and ride rides. If you close, your crew will prolly go out and eat together or something.

It depends on what you're party stance is. There are ALWAYS people hanging out in commons, hookah, smoking parties, club curb, all that fun stuff. And chances are you can find a party any day of the week. I liked commons dorms, there was always something to do.

If your main concern is the party situation and having friends stay with you, you're probably not the type of person who is going to last very long at CP. Not trying to be a jerk or anything, just speaking from what I've witnessed personally over several seasons.

Nah he can last. Dude, just shack up your friends in Breakers Express or some cheap motel around Sandusky when you want to hang with them. There aren't a lot of parties that you're thinking of (beer pong, loud music, lots of people) because cops walk around commons looking for troublemakers, so the only way you party like that is if you have a friend with a house off point. However, the clubs and bars around Sandusky are very fun and I would much rather go out to those then get in trouble with the cops at Commons.

Haha, if partying as a main priority meant you wouldn't last, then I can name about 10 crews that should NOT have survived last summer. There are a lot of people who have houses and apartments though that threw crazy parties (beer pong, loud music, etc).
