Yeah witches wheel was like "stuck in the air" when I walked by it on July 10th. I forgot to note that haha.

Yeah it looked as if in mid ride cycle the thing just stopped or something.

That's interesting, I've never heard of that happening before. Was anyone on it when it happened?

I was there on wednesday and it was working during ERT but when I went back around 1:00 it was down and there was people on the lift hill in the early evening. First time I didn't get to ride RAPTOR in three years on a visit.

July 10th at 11:40 A.M Raptor was not working. I personally drove by it and saw several workers on the lift hill working on it.

I was there that day. In fact I was sitting on the train in the station and it was our turn next. Then they released the restraints and we had to get off. It sucked.

Were they working on it at all?

On my recent trip on this past Sunday, July 6 Raptor was down for maybe a half hour if that. We had just finished our run on Raptor through the whole course and made it into the station. They shut the ride down when we were about to get off because the restraints were stuck and they couldn't unlock us out yet. I'd say about 15 minutes later they were able to release the restraints. This isn't the first time this has happened to me before. I've been stuck before close to the station and they let us out from there.

^ Weird. They should have just manually released you if the restraint release mechanism was not working. Or at least that's what I would assume...

I just came back from a 6 day CP trip and I can say that they were working on the chain lift from Wednesday until Friday night I went early Satudrday Morning and I got a quick ride on it. What happened to Witches Wheel?

It's not that great a ride anyway so no big deal ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

Raptor seemed to be closed all day on 7/12 even until we left at 7:30. It was evident that there were workers working on the lift hill in the early morning.

Witches Wheel was in operation, despite cedarpoint.com's status for the day.

I emailed Extreme makeover and they said if CP is willing to let them do a complete episode on extreme makeover theme park edition. We all should so go if they do that! Build and tear down roller coasters and stuff like that! But in all serious matters CP needs to fix alot of there rides. They have been having a lot of problems with most of them.

That's a rather nebulous and inaccurate statement.

Rides always have downtime. There is nothing you can do about it. I would say CP has one of the best operations out there.
