It was good day indeed. The rain held off. Managed to get
4 ERT rides on Maverick as well.

A very enjoyable day indeed. One of the highlights being the last people to get on maXair before it went down for the rest of the day.:)

Lucky b*stard!!! I got on right after the last successful run of the day, and I knew the delay in loading was not going to go well!!

But considering I can see Delirium from my girlfriend's apartment (and MaXair's apex didn't seem high at all yesterday), I'm not too heart-broken about it, and yesterday was by far one of my best CP days ever combining weather, ride count (over 30), and leaving at a good time. So I'd take that kind of exchange any day of the season!

Good thing the ride night was last night. Maverick is currently valleyed and it is taking them a while to get it winched out.

Wow... thats crazy. I'm assuming it's in the horseshoe roll? It was creeping through those yesterday morning. You would fall into your restraints.

Were the back wheels still dire need of replacement like they were during the first week of the season?

I noticed that there were a few bad wheels, but nothing as bad as last season.

Really? They seemed just as bad to me, which I find odd, seeing as how it had only been open for 2 or 3 days by the time I was on it.

They must have got it moved, it seems to be running ok now.

I also heard that it had valleyed, but it must be back up now. I'm assuming it happened during morning test runs.

Wow, this is turning into a particularly bad start to the season in terms of mechanical problems, accidents, etc.

Are you in one of the OnPoint photos where people are waiting in a line that is moving (or going to move) unlike some people who are standing in a line outside the ride that will never move? :)

Maverick has a train, I don't know which one. But it has that "wheel problem" towards the middle / rear that feels like a wheel has gone bad causing extra amounts of shaking while on the coaster.

^^ We were in the second pic on the blog. We're waiting outside the queue before they started the ERT session. I'm about half way back on the right side, in a red sweatshirt. Adam (TTD 120mph) is in front of me, and Josh M is to the left in a blue jacket.
