Season pass opening

Miss_Maverick07

Can you buy your pass on the day you redeem it? Just wondering.

Yes. You can just show up to the Season Pass office and do it all at once. However, you will have to wait in the line to buy your pass, then go get in the line to redeem your pass. So on Opening Day, you could wait a LONG time to get through all the lines. Especially if you get in the wrong line the first time.

I was checking the site to see the hours for the Season Pass Center and got this message:

"We're Sorry! An error has occurred!!Press your back button on your browser to return to the prior page."

I get the message for almost everything that I click on the site. Maybe they're doing some maintenance.

Here is a direct link to the page with the hours on it.Does anyone else have the same problem? And does anyone know the hours for tomorrow?

I remember when I went last Sunday they were open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. I know they are closed Monday and Tuesday. That's all I remember.

I have a question. I was told my local Meijer stores have some connection with the Cedar Point Season passes and Platinum passes. How does that work?

You buy a voucher at Meijer, take it to the park, get your pass. I believe the vouchers are around $5 less at Meijer, or at least they have been in the past.

okay thanks Ralph. This is my first time ever getting a season pass and my brother and my two buds and I are getting Platinum Passes. I can't wait. I usually only go about twice a summer and I have never been to Halloweekends and I'm planning on going there for the first time and I'm wanting to go to Cedar Point about 10 times. And also Kings Island, Wildwater Kingdom and Soak City, but that's another story.

Don't quote me on this, but... I think Meijer had CP one day Funday tickets for $35. Regular ticket price at the gates was $41.95 at the beginning of the season and $42.95 by the end. That's a discount of $6.95 to $7.95.

Before last year, they had them on a rack somewhere in the store. In Commerce, they were by electronics, but that may vary by story; I'm not sure.

When they've had season passes (not sure if they did last year, if so probably at customer service), they were the same price you'd pay if you bought them at CP.

Sounds good. I think I'm going to have to call my local Meijer store first to see if they are selling the vouchers.

I would say at least 8:00a.m, People will go in for early entry at 9:00 and want to get their passes before then. buying the passes online will definatly save time. So I'd suggest doing that. Less than 12 days till opening day! :)

Yeah if you buy them online your definitely going to be in better shape in riding sooner then just getting them at CP.

I'm going to just buy the voucher at Meijer and then process it when I go to the park for the first time of the season.

How much cheaper is a day pass for Cedar Point at Meijer in comparison to buying them at the gate? A friend of mine who is coming with me doesn't have a season pass and needs to buy an adult day pass.

See my post 6 above yours. :)

That's how they did things last year, anyway. I wonder how much they'll charge this year. Has anyone seen the tickets out yet?

Ah o.k. thanks. I should have looked at that before posting that question. Sorry.

I've had thoughts about upgrading my regular season pass for a platinum, but we don't live close enough to get to the park any earlier than 10 a.m. My boyfriend has a platinum and we basically only got one just to not keep paying 10 dollars for parking.

I'm still debating about a platinum pass because I know there are more benefits than just getting on rides an hour early. Is it worth it?
