I was wondering if anyone knew the date that they are open this year for renewing season passes at Cedar Point?
I was thinking of going on opening day, but the more I'm reading about how everyone needs a photo ID, I'm thinking of just heading down there beforehand.
Also what are the hours?
If anyone can respond and let me know I will very much appreciate it since my boyfriends days off of work need to be notified 3 weeks in advance.
Thank you :)
They're open for SP processing on weekends in April.

From CP's site:
Your Season or Platinum Pass Voucher may be redeemed for a Pass ID at Cedar Point's Season Pass Center (located at the main gate) beginning next spring. Please check back for specific dates and hours.

Thanks dj, do you know what day they start? My boyfriend also works Saturdays, so if we could make it on a Sunday that would be terrific :)
I'm fairly certain they're open on Sundays. Just choose a day in mid-to-late April (say, the 27th), and you're pretty much guaranteed they'll be open.
I'm sure someone will here will confirm this.

Last year they were also open during the week as well. KI opens on April 20th, so if they follow what they did last year CP should start processing a week or two before that.
I hope the process is just as fast as it was last year. Last year the line just flew!! They put in a new system and it made a huge difference. I got my parents and my brother through in just 15 minutes where it took hours before. Kudos to the 2007 Season Pass folks, you guys where great!

Ugh, 3 weeks...I really don't miss those days...
Anywho, the new system really helps the lines. They can be long at times, but not as bad as during the season. I had to wait about 1 1/2 hours one year, I think it was 2000.

Indy's back and just in time.
Well, it's not so bad since he has paid vacation time, and I like to plan in advance with anything I do anyway.. so it works both ways.
Last year I waited an hour in line, given the fact that everyone needs an ID this year I decided to go early (even though it's a 5 hour drive round trip.. but I don't mind that).
Posted times for season pass vouchers are now listed on the website and I'm so happy, they are open on Sundays :)

Allright, April 16th, sounds like a date :). Got to make sure I make my new CP Summer Playlist before then.
I'll be going on the 20th since it's the first Sunday I'm able to go.. otherwise my boyfriend will have to take a vacation day from work, which really sucks, he only has 5 days as of right now. We'll be using them come May :)
^Too bad you cant go before then because the 20th is also KI's Opening Day. Thats where Im going to be :).
I don't have a platinum pass, just a regular one, I could only afford so much :( But that's cool KI is open in April.. have fun Touchdown :)
I'll have to ask for the 16th off. Cant do it sunday for opening day at Kings Island so I'll loss a day of work or maybe i can switch a day off.

Just a quick question.
If I get it processed when I first go to Cedar Point in May, about how long dose it take if I am one of the first ones there?
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

Depends on when they open the center. I've seen them open it a half hour early a couple times.
