Thanks adidas, looks like I'll just stick to a regular season pass then, the other parks are too far away for us to drive, with the gas prices the way they are we can only do so much this season.
Actually the tipping point for a PP pass for me is the water park. I cannot and will not spend mid day at the park when its hot outside. The water rides stink (sometimes litterally) and the area of the park I usually am in midday has very little trees (Main Midway.) I thoughly enjoy my 2-3 hour break from CP on the Raging River, and I have on some occasions even gotten a nap in.
I thought about getting a Platinum Pass for the waterpark, but the thing is there is a Metropark nearby that has a wave pool and a few places in the Metro Detroit area that have waterslides, so I would rather save my gas money.
I've been to Six Flags one year in Ohio where I tried to use the wave pool and it smelled terribly bad because it was a very hot and dry day, everyone was in the wave pool and the stench imminating from it I think was the salt in the water when people were sweaty and didn't use the shower before going in.. I didn't even attempt to go in that day. This was back in 98. So I know what your talking about.
^The waterpark is fine, Im talking about the pond scum smell Thunder Canyon Develops (and on bad days Snake River Falls as well.)
Ah ok. But still I think I'll skip the platinum, besides we have coupons for Soak City if I ever want to go there one day this summer, no biggie.
