And you know it was used how?

I mean, I could understand if you said unrolled or unwrapped, but used?

Do you think people would purposely throw it in the pond?:)

I would assume it was used. But then again someone *could have* unrolled it and thrown it in for a laugh. Either that or the fish have been up to no good.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

I can speak from experience that it happens more often than you'd think. However I was always tactful and did it in private locations like dorm or hotel rooms and not out in broad view or where a minor could possible see.

I heard countless stories of "incidents" happening in strange locations in the park. Electrical Rooms, Antique Car Tunnel, Snoopy Bounce, etc...

I thought it was a bit unsanitary myself.

CP may be a family park, but it's not for making families in the park.

Of course I wouldn't know firsthand ;-)... But under the trough of Dis Transport, The Rotunda in Breakers, Backstage at the Garter, and Millennium Island all are ringing a bell too.

How would someone get under DT's trough??

I mean, the time it takes to find all these odd spots, you could already be at a dorm room, etc.

We should talk about space spiral before this thread gets locked...:)

Upper cabin is rarely used because of staffing. You need a crew member on both upper entrance and upper exit. Upper cabins view is hardly any different than the lower part. Sometimes crew people are sent to the upper level to clean it to get it ready fun is trying to clean while the ride is in motion.

As for stories of Point employees doing certain things in odd locations believe me some of the stories are true. That's all I have to say.

^Well, at least employees show they really love the wonderful amusement park that they work at, or I should say WORKED at....

anyway, I have never ridden the top cabin before, but I bet it 's used on those halloweekend saturdays and ones in july and stuff.

Actually I doubt it's used for Halloweekends, given the park is the shortest on staff at that time.

Rather than bring up a new topic, I figured I'd bring back an old topic regarding what I was going to talk about anyway. Here it goes. Is it just me or does it seem like Space Spiral is always down? I went to Cedar Point yesterday and wanted to ride Space Spiral to get my last rides in before they decide to remove it before summer's end. Is there something majorly mechanically wrong with Space Spiral? I never see it operating.

It was operating yesterday. But as Cedar Fair said, operation and mechanical costs are rising.

^ For the most part, it was down. Do you think that is the reason why Space Spiral is rumored to be removed? Do you have the link?

Well Cedar Fair did say that increased matinence problems and costs were one of the issues in the "leaked" memo.
