Joe Cool Weekend (Sept 7-9)

Anyone spot a link for the Joe Cool weekend? I couldn't find it on the CP web site. I'm at least interested in the Maverick ERT on the 7th.

Yes, they will all need to have Joe Cool in order to enjoy the ERT session. There will be someone checking passes at the ride entrance.

I can only attent the Maverick ERT. Saturday, just wont be able to get out there, and I am a Browns Season Ticket holder, so I MUST go to the Steelers opener.

If I can get out of work early enough, I would like to be at Maverick ERT, I haven't been to CP since Coastermania so I am OVERDUE! :)

Has anything been posted about which gate to use on Friday night? I assume they will want us all to use 1 gate rather than have all gates staffed for an extra hour.

Update on OnPoint! regarding gates for Joe Cool Weekend:

"We've received this question a few times, so we decided to answer it here. If you're coming to Joe Cool Club Homecoming Weekend, you will have to enter the park through the MAIN ENTRANCE ONLY! The Resort Gate, Marina Gate and Beach Gate will all be closed during early ride times on Friday and Sunday. Joe Cool Club members will be admitted to the Main Entrance at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7 and at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9. Tell your friends!"

Thats surprising, you would think since Maverick is the ONLY ride that will be open for that hour that they would just use the Resort Gate. But the Main Gate it is... Thats gonna be quite the run for those who will do so.

I've run to Maverick enough this season... I'll be walking.

I'm with Josh. I'll be walking too. Only the 2nd time I've gone in the front gate this season. (other time was Coastermania)

Would have been nice if we actually got in a little before 4pm, and just open the ride at 4, but we'll still be there before the resort crowd gets in, so it's all good.

We may be headed up this weekend. Will TTD have ERT on this JCW? :)

No, there won't be ERT on TTD, but if I remember last year, the park won't be too crowded on Friday night, so you should be able to get plenty of rides on TTD. That's what I'm planning to do :)

Score, when you inherit dong the schedule you get to do things like schedule yourself out in time to go to CP for Maverick ERT on a Friday!

They will be open for resort entry, but not the JCC entry.
