For the record, my dog's name is G-Spot. Because I can never find him!

I'm not sure if I'll be the very first, but I"ll be happy enough just to be there the first hour that it first ever opened to the public.

I'll get to ride before the park opens. I get to go with the media. Media day is usually 2 days before the opening. If T & T did a contest, it would probly be then. Because that is the only ride open that day. And u get from 5 in the morning till 2:30 in the afternoon to ride it (non-stop)

Could you be more misinformed? You don't get to do anything unless you're invited, and the best way to not do that is say you're going.

Media days involve a lot of sitting around, especially when they have to work in a live drop.

Furthermore, if you're one of those people who nag the PR people, stop. The only thing you're doing is annoying them. You and the other 10,000 members on this site will collectively become a hindrance to doing their real job: Getting people from the actual media there to publicize the ride. Nobody cares what your nickname or your dogs name is.

My guess is that if you process in a couple of days early they'll get a couple of very long extra days work out of you.

Don't expect to go from ride to ride. Expect to do a lot of cleaning. =) If you DO get test rides it'd be iciing on the cake. =)

Hey everybody I am new here, but I have been a fan of this site for a pretty long time....

I don't know about you guys, but one of my favorite parts is waiting in the line of a new ride and building up the anticipation. I think that makes it more exciting.

Sounds to me like was invited (perhaps as a guest of a media person).

"I get to go with the media."

Sounds like he understands it too. Sure there is a lot of work in the morning, but afterwards it's just run over and over so anyone there can ride it if they want (or get more shots).

As far as I know it has always been on the Thursday before opening day. Which would be the 10th this year.
