First to ride maverick!!!

You know how they have weekly drawings for 4 tickets to CP. Well what do you guy's think about having drawings to be one of the first to ride maverick?

I'm already planning on going opening day but what an added bonus of being one of the first to ride.

First riders will be a Red Cross Auction I'm sure.No reason to give them away when you can make some money for charity.

But, you won't be the first to ride, even if that was the case.

Besides, they already do give away seats for the first riders. The way you win them is by making the biggest contribution of your hard earned dollars to the Red Cross.

Eh. It'll be there when I get there.

Besides, there's a decent chance a bunch of employees will have ridden it before even the Red Cross folks get a chance, so it's not exactly going to be uber-special.

The employees, the IntaRide and CF guys ride it then, Red Cross People I believe.

lets rephrase this before it get ugly... the first PUBLIC ride...

I can't see them not having a contest. Probably a couple tickets to media day.

I know I'll be the first person to ride it with my name...that's exciting enough for me.

Traditionaly the steel erectors / contractors get the first trip on a new coaster.

Maybe if I show up at Cedar Point with my dog, they'll give me some media coverage and possibly a free ride lol. Anyone else here have a dog named Maverick? He's 2 so I didn't just give him a name recently :)

I don't know if they'll do the invites to Media Day again. I heard the people who won last time didn't even bother to show up. I don't know if that was true or not.

There'll be a bunch of rides from Kinzel and the builders, etc, then employees and then Media Day then more employees, then the Red Cross rider auction, then the public.

If I have money I may try for the Red Cross auction since I've never gotten on one of those before.
