What the rest of the trade market knows

Now lets hope the themeing will be staying for several years...

I'm still trying to figure out how it got out there; a hacker, or someone on the way out?

You know...I've always been the type of person that has said that if I was ever "in the know," I'd be the one who spilled the beans. But now that I've seen it first hand, it really takes a lot of the fun out of waiting. It's like being the kid who can't wait for Christmas and opens all the presents on Christmas Eve, and when the day finally comes, you don't have a reason to look forward to it. The ride itself looks great. I'd just be more excited about it if it was the 7th and I had just woken up and rushed to the computer and checked CP's site. :(

Myself, I'm actually more pumped for the official announcement now than I was before. That "thing" looks so great, beyond even what I was expecting in the way of themeing. All I have to say is (like the Guinness guys) Brilliant! :)

Take care and God bless!

That's what I was thinking DIL. I'm still getting up bright and early next Thursday to see if there are any live feeds over the net for the media stuff, and to get the whole lowdown on the ride, as I'm sure there will be a lot more than what was covered in the Screamscape article.

Its about time Cedar Point puts the money into more than just the steal or wood.

ummm.... hate to be a stickler, but I didn't get to see what everyone seems to be drooling over, are you all allowed to talk about what you saw in detail?

Martin has got to be the smartest person here.

What is that, like the "i didn't learn from before" link?

Who cares, thnx Martin. This ride will be ridiculous. I am beyod stoked.

Plus why is the "really well informed website who will remain namless b/c i'm not sure if it is ok to name their website" upset, it's just going to dramatically increase traffic through their webpages... all of the enthusiasts from other forums will be going there as well

^^ its a website that has (I'm sure at this point) lost a lot of respect from the coaster community and the Cedar Point community. Cedar Point has their own plans and marketing strategy for P2007 and to announce stuff that hasn't been released yet is just disrespectful.

In the age of digital media, I'm surprised it took this long for something to get out. Its unfortunate CP has to share information with anyone, much less websites.

It doesnt matter if its a link or not....This sites admins have asked at LEAST 5 times not to mention the site involved. Are you asking to be banned? Are you 7 or something?

Well i was impressed by the allegedly leaked photo illustration... It matches all the footers and track in place now and definitely looks legit... if its a fake, its a darn good one! (and I hope its true as it will be a great ride!)

I could careless if I was banned. This site doesn't mean that much to me. I enjoy Thrill Network much more. I'm also turning 17.

it seems to look like a picture of a model of the ride

Well, Martin if you feel this way why don't you just get lost then. Instead of taking up space on this post. You know, people always appreciate the things that they have to work for more than they appreciate the things that are just given to them. Just a thought.

HA HA HA... wow... 17... that makes you what? STILL A CHILD!!! Telling the folks on this fourm that you are 17 is NOT going to lend you much credibility or respect...

As a matter of fact, telling everone that you are 17 will not get you very far anywhere... Except to the actual 7 year olds... and they aren't going to be able to lend you much support...

I would think that if someone were to show off their brand new ride, I would think that they would manage to be able to get the entire ride in the picture. I would also think that they would be able to create a ride in which the supports would not intrude into the building covering the launch area. Looks pretty fake to me. We will see in six days.
