I have already stated what I know. At this point in time it would still be considered speculation, but the fingerprints are on the gun so to speak. Study the arials from 8/5. Pay close attention to where the launch was just put in. There will be a lift above that, and there is a third row of footers between the launch and the building they are putting up. There will be 3 passes of track in this area. Now compare the arials to the track that is already in place. You can then figure out pretty easily where this ride is going and to an extent what it will do. I have been following this industry for quite awhile and know what I am looking at when I am looking at something. So trust what I am saying or dont....I really dont care, but we will see in a week. And Im telling ya, this ride will have the most inversions and standard trains. (the trains may have a theme to them, but nothing special about the seating arrangements)
Can you explain to me how they could fit maybe 8+ inversions inside the rest of the presumed layout? Not even a large row of barrel rolls/inlines would do the job..
Fear, the site covers more space than colossus does, and that has 10.

So what we think of and dont know about, all the rest of the industry truly does know about. So knowing what it takes to outdo the other guy, is basically easy to obtain information... Interesting.
Colossus covers a footprint of aprox 120' x 1000'. So about 3 acres. Slightly less area as Corkscrew.

This is no competion here fear...No one gets a prize for being right, and no one loses anything for being wrong. I went out on a limb and stated what I believed it to be, and provided some evidence to back up my thoughts. And you have done? If I am wrong, when 9/7/06 comes around my excuse will be....get ready for it...I was wrong. I unlike a lot of the spoiled people around here will be excited no matter what they build. Ive been going to Cedar Point since they had 6 coasters and have been happy with everything they have built since. So stop trying to make something into a pissing match when there really doesnt need to be one. Have a nice day.

I haven't done anything, I have kept my mouth shut. Not to start an argument on rollercoasters, I was simply stating what I said in regards to what you said. From what I know, you DID say that this coaster would break the inversion record implying that you KNEW it would. So I would just like to hear what you will have to say when Sept. 7th hits..
This is unbelievable!!!!
Please do not mention the site involved.

That's OK, you didn't know. We're just trying to help keep the damage to a minimum. I can't really prevent people from talking about it, but I can keep people from giving out the site name or linking to it.

Its nothing that someone here couldn't have thrown together with photoshop.
Jugga, I'd like to see you do something like that in Photoshop or Fireworks. Even someone over at RCPro, who is one of the best graphics guys I've ever seen, couldn't have done that. What was used was most definately a premium, proffesional-grade 3D modeling program, we're talking upwards of $1000, possibly above $3000. Look at the level of detail, the accurateness of the structures, and the layout of the area. All very detailed and very, very accurate. If an enthusiast did this, than they must have been working on it since last year. Pretty good guessing in that case, wouldn't you say?
I'm guessing that whover gave this and other info to *** is a very accomplished hacker, as I doubt that someone with access to the rendering would be someone ready to lose their job, unless they were already on the way out. *** Edited 9/1/2006 8:25:20 PM UTC by BlueStreak64***

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I just asked our graphics guys here at the station and they said that they don't even have the ability to create something like that. I think we may have seen the real deal. I would also recommend saving the image to your computer before it disappears too.
Dead Men Tell No Tales
Already done that. :) I would still have some prints from Hydra that were also posted on *** as well, but my hard drive crashed shortly thereafter. Luckily I printed them off, but unluckily I don't know where they are now.
