The "whole new direction thing" got me wondering about going underground. Now, I doubt it will happen but it isn't impossible as some would suggest. I was on Key Biscayne in Miami a month or so back and visited a building that had underground parking.

There are new engineering ideas out there that make this a feasible alternative even on some place like a Peninsula. Florida's water table is no higher than the Point's but there are some buildings on the horizon down here that will have 3 levels of underground parking.

I think water will be involved with this ride, but it WILL NOT go underground.

I couldn't agree more, Chief.

As for MrScott, methinks he might be a merman. ;)

What the heck is a "merman"? Do you mean "Mermaid"?

Wait a minute...Maybe you had it right. I am certainly not a "maid" of any sort.

Anything with a whale's tail ain't no man. It is against man law.

I think that the Chief has something also. The water fact being that maybe the track will go under the water.

It isn't going into the Bay, if that is what you are getting at.

I wasnt thinking of the bay, but rather something that can be put in. Nothing big, just alittle something to add to the ride.

Ohh man. We don't have that crazy advertising here in Canada so when I was on my way to NYC last month we stopped in Pennsylvania at a Wendys I saw that. You crazy Yanks ;).

As for going into the bay, that seems unlikely. It would be cool, but unlikely, not to mention unnecessary.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
