Neglected Rides

Kylepark, did you FORGET Blue Streak???? It's the pefect taste for somebody just starting to ride big coasters. Say, a kid graduationg from Woodstock & Jr. Gemini. Granted, it's a guppy compared to MF or TTD, but you get the point.

I have 3 words for you...

TROIKA TROIKA TROIKA!

In it's old location I put more laps on that ride than any other flat ride in the park. Before I was brave enough to ride coasters, my father would sit bored as I would ride it over and over again. The sensations on that ride got me ready for the bigger coasters and such... I was convinced that Troika was the greatest ride ever

Oh childhood memories...

I love the Witches Wheel! There is something about not having a seat belt that really gets my blood pumping on that ride! Plus the fact that it goes upside-down...Cedar Point needs more rides (and coasters) that do this.

CP needs Coasters that go upside-down without seatbelts? Hmmm...

Have fun on your seatbeltless ride. I personally like the seatbelts. :)

Well up until a few years ago you could go upside down at CP on a coaster (Corkscrew) without a seatbelt...

There's nothing like a looper without OTSR's. Gotta love the old Antons...

One without seatbelts... I think I'd pass. ;)

Believe it or not, the trains on Wildcat at Idora Park did not have seatbelts. Only, a non-adjustable lap bar:

I vote for disaster transport! I have more laps on that ride than almost anything else in the park.... although I must say it would be better with the lights on... and if they cleaned the themeing... its got like 10 inches of dirt on

oh, yeah i've ridden it with the lights on.... and i've ridden it without being in the shuttle! Yeah.... someone told me to track walk the first drop.... which you arent supposed to do... went for a slide... I was BLACK when i got to the bottom of the hill. but it was a fun ride

O_O

You slid down Disaster Transport? Now that's an experience not many people have! So, was it better than the real ride?

You want a coaster with a lack of restraints?... Try the Tig'rr Coaster at Indiana Beach. You just sit down and hold on...

What a great little ride...

Tig'rr rocks. When I rode it for the first time, I had no idea what I was about to experience. :)

Yeah. Me too Walt. I just decided to ride it to waste some time in between laps on Cornball Express, and when I got in the train I asked myself "Is there anything to strap me in?"... but before I knew it, we were on our way up the lift...

So much fun...

What about Monster?!?! I rode it for the first time last September, I don't know why I waited so long. It reminds my of the Octopus at Boblo. That was my favourite ride ever. I also love rides like Ocean Motion, Wave Swinger, Troika, Cedar Downs, they're all great. Cedar Point wouldn't be complete if one of them were missing.

EDIT** I forgot my beloved Mean Streak. Streaker for LIFE!!

Ya know, Cedar Point had a coaster that was similar to Tig'rr. And the same retraints, if I recall.
