DANGER, DANGER! More fast pass stuff
Calm down peoples!
From what I see there are three problems with the Cedar Point "Ticket to Ride." First they do not have an alternative line. This is a problem for the locals and people who want to come to the park during the twilight.
Second, if they implement this pass system on the three coasters mentioned above then many will not be able to ride four of the most popular coasters if they come to twilight because the pass' would be gone by then.
Third, while it may help those four coasters it will overall hurt the other rides lines. This was one of the upsides of the Millennium Force line. You could compensate by not wait for some of the other coasters. This one is the biggest one because it's kind of like if we had a crowd this big before many of the more modern coasters where built.
The problem with the Ticket to Ride system is it is nothing like the Disney one (which is not as bad as it sounds). If they fixed those first two problems listed above then it would be grate.

From what was described to me the DT ticket system would be almost perfect.

all we really want is an alternate line!! the system is not truly "first come, first served" if all of the ticketsa are gone 1/2 hour after opening!! it's all about supply and demand..more demand means you do not cut ride capacity and increase wait times. and TTR is like treating some people better than others..if you are LUCKY enough, or FAST enough, or TRICKY enough, you get to ride!! shouldn't everyone have the same chance to ride and not have to depend on the luck of the draw??? it should not be implemented on any of the rides at CP..if they get this working smoothly by the end of the season, i will be VERY SURPRISED!!!
