Verizon worked well in the dorms as well. Just get Verizon

I've always had Nextel and never had a problem( unless I'm standing near a loud ride!)

all i have to say if you want the best reception everywhere except inside of sandusky mall where nobody get's a reception then get Verizon.

I had alltel and had great service except in the apartments.
