cell phones

I was just wondering, what cell phone services got decent to good service at the park and in the housing. Even though its a major theme park, and there will be towers all around, doesn't mean that all phones will get good service. I was just wondering, so if needed, I could change my plan to free roaming.

I get great coverage throughout the CP and Lake Erie island area with Verizon.

i had tmoble and att when i worked there and no problems getting a signal.

I had excellent coverage with Verizon

the best service for the cedar point area and everywhere is verizon wireless. i got great reception while i working down there except for in sandusky mall where nobody get's an reception.

Sprint must have added an antenna somewhere, because what used to be spotty or non-existent for me is now four or five bars all over the park.

Awesome. I just got a Sprint Cell Phone in December. It's good to hear that it'll work. My Nokia (through Cingular) had..decent reception at the park previously.

T-mobil has coverage, 4 to 5 bars, throughout the park and surrounding area.

I have used Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T (now Cingular) at Cedar Point over the past 4 years. AT&T was by far the worst, and my current Sprint phone gets 5 bar coverage all over the park. I would recommend Sprint to anyone looking for a new cell phone.

T-mobile (as previously stated) gets good reception all around the park for the most part, but be careful when you ride maggie (well I suppose any ride...but Magnum in particular)...my phone always seems to slip out of my pocket on that ride, so consider yourselves warned!

i don't know how you guy's can use sprint. they have way too much drama and their service is crazy and i hated it so i switched to verizon last summer and it was the best.

Sprint drops wayy to many calls. Cingular is the best.

I've had Verizon for three years now and I have never had a problem. Then only time that I hardly get a signal is in the dorm rooms, but then I still get one or two bars. IMO Verizon is the best out there with Cingular 2nd.

I got Verizon last summer. It gets the best reception in my opinion.

Nextel works great at Cedar Point. Five bars everywhere.

I usually have 5 bars everywhere at the Point with Verizon.

Are you kidding me, I never got service with Nextel. I had the I90c. My friend with a I530 had only marginally better service than I did.
