And he said, "Ok now they took down the secound support?" before that.

Dragster was erected by The Canadians(TM), not locals.

Now that I see it assembled it looks pretty big, the crane trucks around it look like toys. I wonder if they will do any more today, I don't see any other ride parks around.

At the turn of the Millennium, there were signs. Was the something out there?... A mysterious force at work? Beyond words. Beyond comprehension. Beyond, beyond beyond… A natural force simply known as, Millennium Force. The future is riding on it.…

If that picture taped to the wall of ORPS in the second image is of him, that makes it even funnier.

The question on my mind is, where are they going to put the que in. It seems to me that the most logical position is behind it, which in turn would close off the section between Trokia and maXair. I also wonder how close you will be able to get underneath the swing path. It would be pretty sweet to put some benches near there, it would make for some cool pictures. Just thinkin about it makes me giddy...

I captured a few shots of the webcam during the construction and found something odd.

http://cpcg.photosite.com/construction/maxair

In the second picture the red crossbeam over the motor appears to be there. After it was finished in the first picture the crossbeam is gone. It could be the angle, or they took this off for wiring it. Derliruim doesn't have this crossbeam, is it for a sign or something to be placed on top of the ride once it is finished?

It was most likely for hooking up the crane cables so it could be moved. At least that's what I think it is. *** Edited 2/16/2005 10:05:55 PM UTC by TTD 120mph***

On the Discovery Channel special, Extreme Rides 2003, here is what was stated there. The ride uses wireless technology. Due to the number of wires that would have to be placed down the arm it would be near impossible to use hard wiring. The wireless computer allows it to communicate with the ride quicker and less of a hassle. As to what column holds the power cables is not known.

Yes, the red beam is temporary, as are the red "feet" under it in that photo linked above.

Presumably the cables and hoses will go down the leg closest to the refreshment stand/mechanical room. I assume that would be this leg, shown here.
