Heh, I overheard someone say that a train had gotten stuck at the apex for four hours and that a worker had to "hand-crank" the thing down. I'm not quite sure what "hand-crank" meant, but I didn't want to ask.

I hate that college humor site. They rip off images and toss their name on them. Case in point:

I can't stand people that do that. Its almost as annoying as software pirates ;)

Imagine how many black or red outs we'd see out of that.

When I went to the dentist, someone heard that someone died because they got hit by a canadian geese(goose?) or something. I wonder how some these rumors get started?

Someone once told someone at the desk that they heard someone had choked on their gum and died while riding. Another desk clerk was told that they heard the train flew off the track and landed half-way across the midway...;)

The train flying off the track makes sense - I could see someone telling someone else about how the tire flew off, and that person somehow interpreting it that the train flew off. Kind of like that game telephone. But the others? Eck
