A little flimsy covers all the bases just fine. ;)Wicked Twister should be experiencing a lot less downtime now...

We waited in that line for an hour on Friday evening. It was so cold, I thought we were standing in line for a HalloWeekends attraction :)

It's our tradition (which I marked on the survey) to come over and get passes. The survey asked what Cedar Point could do to get us to renew by mail. I wrote "nothing." :)

Back on the "new picture" topic, this may already be somewhere else but there are some new pics of the train cresting the top at rcdb.com. Heres the link: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery1896.htm

Walt, I did not know that you didn't have a digicam...that makes your collection of images on your site (and off) even more impressive. Can't wait to see the result when you go on a photo binge. :)

Hey Gemini, I was there with a friend on Friday evening as well. I was so shocked by how cold it was since it was warm and balmy when we left Michigan. On the survey question about how they could get me to renew by mail I replied "Two front of the line passes.". I also suggested that for every five visits to the park season pass holders should receive two front of the line passes as well. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see Dragster launch. The only thing I did get to see was Maggie climbing the lift hill as we were parking. I did see the much needed new paint on Mantis, it looks great. Did you notice that from behind the season pass center Dragster appeared to be exactly as tall as Power Tower and they lined up perfectly, creating a weird eclipse kind of thing?

Topthrill420, I was thinking the SAME thing! I was picturing little painting men, who had some extra paint, and just got CREATIVE!

Phoebe: That’s ridiculous Rachel, we were all babies once. . .Oh, you mean today!
Rachel: Yeah.

I can't believe that there is an hour long wait to go get your season pass. Is it like that at all times or are there just a few time that there are waits like that?

If you get there just a little later in the day, closer to 7 which is closing time on Saturday and Sunday, the line dwindles quite a bit. It's still cold though. Brrrrrr.

I guess I'll have to bring a ski mask with me so my face doesn't get chilled by a 120 mph wind while on TTD!

What a scam! From your approach with no one at the front of the building you think it is going to be a piece of cake in-and-out. Surprise! Now you must go to the line of the century at the back of the building! This definately makes me thank my lucky stars that I can process my certs. through the mail. I'll never wait in that line again if I don't have to. Last time I did that I was in a 3 hour long line and that is no exaggeration. CP pass processing sucks!

Nice pictures Walt. It is almost like I was there, minus the wind chill. ;)

You can't see the tower at all in the Pagoona's saved picture. It's gona be cool to all of the sudden the tower pops out of the night sky when the tree lights come on.

I still can't figure out why Cedar Point doen't post another picture on there website. I have seen the discussions about this and do understand that they are busy trying to get the ride finished but the construction workers aren't the one's that would post the picture. The "computer guys" post the pic. and why would they be busy. Can someone please give me an explanation. I would really want to see an "official" picture. It's just not the same with an amatuer picture.

The one from April 27th is the best profile picture that I have seen that really compares the size of Millennium and Dragster. From the main parking lot, it looks like Dragster is barely taller than Power Tower.
