Wicked Twister has New Supports on the one side

Hey I was at the park today and i was by wicked twister and the side closest to the diving pool well it has little yellow supports (2) up to at least 3/4 of the way up They are not big they are thin but it is the side that got cracked last season but they look ok but they are not a full support to the ground. It starts from the catwalk and goes 3/4 of the way. I just wanted everyone to know about that.

Guess that settles the debate of whether or not they were going to fix it. Hopefully we won't see that much downtime now.

MANTIS ROCKS 2002 & 2003

Does anyone have any pictures of it.

I also hope that this means it will return to its original glory of the first month or so of last year. What I mean is that it will go all the way up the back spike twice rather than just once, as it did in the latter half of last season.

I saw the supports today while getting my Season Pass. The back spiral is all done, and the front spiral had one set up. The supports are yellow, and they look kind of out of place. I agree with Chris, in that hopefully the ride will return to it's former glory.

I saw them today also... I got some pics that I can post tomorrow. They may look a little out of place, but personally I don't think they look that bad. I doubt the GP will really notice (especially those that weren't there last year).

Practice poor ethics? Well im sure at first they didnt beleive that they needed more supports. But i for one am happy they are taking extra procautions, and as we all know, saftey to their guests is their number 1 priority.

Anyway, its not that big a deal, hopefully now the ride will be as great as it was on Opening Day last year.

Yeah I thought WT packed a punch at the beginning of the season... Oh well. I was under the impression that Monty recently told Jeff there would not be supports. I didn't realize it wasn't a recent comment.
