Hahaha... oh well, you guys can decide for yourself:

I recommend changing the size to "Normal" to get the best quality. :)

I agree that it does take away just a little from the overall first appeal, but if it lets the ride go full blast again, then I'm all for it.

Well, that should eliminate some of the movement that may have caused the ties to come loose. I always felt (from my non-engineer point of view) that straight spikes could go a long way without extra support because the train forces acting on it are, well, straight forward. With the twist, you add a significant amount of rotational forces you didn't have before.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about running at full speed again, as Jasper gave the impression that the current routine was best for the "equipment," which says electrical components to me. Feel free to ask him when you see him.

It would look a bit better if they painted the new supports the same color as the original supports.

It makes no sense to me why they are yellow when the normal supports are green.

I agree, they should be green!
They are less noticable being yellow... Maybe they think the GP won't notice.

If they were green, they would really stick out. Being yellow it's not very noticable. I think they look a lot better in yellow than what they would in green.
What a surprize, Cedar Point having to fix a ride because it was designed incorrectly! I bet that's the first time that has happened, wink, wink! (Examples: Magnum, Mean Streak, Maintis, and Raptor. They have all been changed or repaired due to stress or other reasons!)
Nothing is wrong with the design, it's a very proven design. However, the steel that Intamin used may not have been as high quality as they planned on. When a coaster is designed, a second engineering firm looks over the plans and verifies eveything. Wicked Twister, along with all the other coasters, are very sound in the blueprints, however the steel and other building materials may not hold up as they should, or are expected to, creating slight problems, requiring a few extra supports.

I took some pictures today with better lighting. They don't look bad at all. They woudl stand out a lot more green then yellow.

I'm wondering how the foot-chopper effect will be with those new supports. I pull up my feet everytime without thinking and it looks like those supports will only increase the feeling even more.

Ok, so what happened to the old, "If it was ridgid, it would break!", theories? I think I angered a few people by blowing this theory out of the water, but they went on believing in their theory, anyway. And, here we are.

Keep the yellow. I hope this change solves the problem. Went to CP a couple of times last year and both times WT was down. Guess I have two new rides to try this season. :)
(Well one new, and one newer)
I didn't get the chance to go to CP last year was WT down alot. And with the way people are talking im not sure if I want to ride it. :(
